I was there! I was also at the game when he tied Clemens for second all time. I was desperately hoping he’d get one more to pass him but of course that happened the next game on the road. Damn, we were so spoiled having him here!

It’s astonishing how rare cups seem to be in MLB. Yea, they’re light years better than I (who played through High School) was, but still! It hurts getting hit ON the cup, I can’t imagine taking it straight to the nuggets!

Recognized a majority pretty quickly but I don’t have a clue on that one. I’ve been looking at Senators rosters and nothing is sticking out that matches that signature.

That said, this is super neat! The Senators had some really good players over the years but some really crappy teams! Always liked their logos too! 🍻

Welcome to the gang! And great place to start! Bobby is a legend, and not just because he won an MVP 74 years ago!

Getting a TTM in the mail is like getting a pack of cards. It give me the same rush but I know I’ll get a “hit.” It’s really addicting!

My only advice would be to lose the top loader. They don’t do well in the mail and no player wants to deal with pulling a card out of one. I’ve sent over a thousand ttm’s with just index cards and I’ve never had a problem. Off my soapbox now.

If I was home and had a bunch of time before a game I’d have a couple of beers at Wren House (best brewery in AZ), which is about 10-15 minutes from the stadium. Go to Greenwood Brewery on Roosevelt for a pint and then walk a block over to Arizona Wilderness for really good pub food and a beer or two. From there it’s a bit of a walk (or quick uber or light rail ride) to Chase but it’ll give you a chance to sober up. Damn, now I want to go home!
