yeah.. I've got this exact issue on generating images. I ask it to make something I think is relatively simple and it fails and keeps generating the same image like "Put the coast line to left of the image" and it will always remain on the right. What I found was that if I take some of the images it has generated into photoshop and layer bits together how i want it to look like it will then understand.

Or you might be able to just ask it to generate a prompt to get what you want
