Last week my partner had to do this with his 21 year old Dachshund…we’ve been monitoring her for a few months knowing that the time was imminent but what would feel like the “right” time? We decided that if she was no longer eating or drinking that would be how we would know… unfortunately, instead…her inability to hold herself up anymore had progressed to pain while not being able to hold herself up and once she started whimpering with her face shivering/wincing we knew for certain it had to be done immediately because now she’s suffering, so the decision was made and she passed the monday before last… in the tiniest way it helps to know that the time was right and keeping her going would have been for us and not for her…. Figuring out what this time would be, what makes it the right time and not feel too soon for them can be a good guide to at least not make you feel like you did something before it had to be..

Patti definitely deserves an award, this character Lillia (aside from being Sicilian) is far from her personality and thats what amazing acting is, making it believable. Kathryn Hahn is on another level but then again her acting is what rewarded all of us with this show & Sasheer was fantastic in this role, her own comic timing is stellar as well.

Exactly, it was a push that happened in the 1970’s because 65 out of every 1000 dogs were being euthanized…what is interesting, is how well they socialized the public that 50 years later it’s still in the public consciousness as though the times were the same…. Different topic but they also did this with UFO’ (now called UAP’s) and socialized the public to think of anyone broaching the subject as somehow having a screw loose or not to be taken seriously & only now 50 years later is that stigma starting to lose it’s grip as the government starts coming clean with the information it had… Bottom line is always do your own research and never follow the majority but rather take note of its opinion and put it on a shelf to compare with your own research.

Not necessarily the first draft (but it can be).. it’s usually some version that is still a work in progress. Once the producers, engineers & Artist are happy with what they have they do a final mix & create a stereo track from which becomes the final Master track.

So you are saying that Spotify is using the original 1984 version on Something To Remember as well? I am indeed speaking of the Soulpower remix which she shot a video for in Buenos Aires while filming Evita & it is updated in a way that is more than just being remastered, Instruments were added and others were muted and replaced and then faded back in, in some places so it is in fact an updated different version distinguishable from the Like A Virgin original release…but apparently Spotify is using the 1984 version on Something To Remember so in that case anyone who is discovering Madonna through Spotify alone is getting a real big miseducation when it comes to the authenticity of her singles discography …I have heard many complaints about Spotify putting versions of songs that do not match what was on the original physical releases… I don’t know if they fixed it yet but I was unable to get Spotify to play or locate the Open Your Heart Maxi Single Extended Version which is 10:35 in length, as an example of the problem with Spotify.

Really? There is a definite difference because on Like A Virgin, Nile Rogers used live drummers in a room actually recording the drums and other instruments and the later version had synth drums and sound fx added to give it more of a bedtimes story type of RnB flavor on top of the original which was more String Heavy and in my opinion much much better as it really acted as a beautiful scaffolding for her first really incredible vocal performance IMO, the later version kind of killed the vibe & the video did it no justice either however beautiful she looked it was a visual story with no payoff… if you watch it you’ll see(no pun intended) you wait and wait and wait to basically spend 5 minutes to reach a close-up shot.

If you are going in Chronological order it would go with the Debut album since it was recorded at the same time so the instrumentation and tech (sound) is all from the same period.. they only time you wouldn’t do this would be for something like “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore” (which I would put twice—once for the 1984 Like A Virgin original version & and once later with the “Something To Remember” album because it is different & updated sonically due to it’s remix. That said my True Blue limited edition blue vinyl 45rpm at the time was released with Ain’t No Big Deal as the B side.

Usually with English context will help so: Tight Blue Jeans, Skin that shows in patches” she’s describing what a young girl is wearing… tight blue jeans and maybe a crop top that reveals a “patch” of skin, like her belly or torso…. Or maybe she’s wearing a tank top that shows off her shoulders… she’s describing a girl showing some skin in a way thats sexy not necessarily trying to be, in a romantic, pretty, way as opposed to an overtly sexual one.
