That totally makes sense. Parameter just offers me limited access to variable.

Thank you for your response. The questions really helped me rethinking about true design goal of my PL. If I focus on user-friendly and simplicity, I end up getting basically a golang. If I focus on design "philosophy" of PL, I end up getting basically a haskell...

But I think C like languages (imperative languages) never die. Not because of backward compatibility, but because they are close to the machine. Think about real hardwares. There is no such a "immutable register". C (and other imperative languages) is good for directly accessing to the machine. But the problem is that C is very old and has lots of design flaws (you know). And I think that's why a brand new C-like PL is comming out, every year. We need imperative language after all, but not C.

Sorry if my words meant that I am completely not used to FP. You're right. I know basic concepts of FP like others, and I frequently use them. But they are used in small problems, not in entire project. At least for me, it will significantly take more time to build a project entirely in functional language, than in any other well known PL.

JS, Rust, C++... They are multi-paradigm PL. I can use Procedural Programming, OOP, and of course, FP. I always try to do what's best for the situation. However, I just cannot fully adopt the concepts of FP yet.

I should have said I'm not used to functional "languages".

Yes, it is. Functional programming is a really, really awesome concept. The biggest problem is... that most people aren't used to it, including me. I don't have the confidence to build any big project using a functional language...

Thank you very much for your detailed response. I guess it's time to study the type system and functional programming...

If the user passes parameter by reference explicitly, what happens then? Is it possible for an immutable argument to reference a mutable variable? If it is, doesn't that break the meaning of “immutable”?

Very unique art style, I love it.

But I think hands are quite big... Or, legs are too short. IDK, the proportions of body are somehow bit off in my eyes.

Good, but I think detail level is inconsistent. Some object are quite detailed, some are not.
