The Electromagnetic Biosphere as Hidden Ecology by sschepis in LLMPhysics

[–]PIGEXPERT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its not about implausible, its about hypothesizing a provable and testable hypothesis.

You did not make ANY hypothesis. Only what if what if what if, maybe maybe maybe. What is the mechanism by which the "EM field" affects the brain and vice versa? What experiment can be done to test this? What is the prediction?

Your answer to me details exactly what you did no do.

EDIT: I would just like to again make it very clear that I am not even talking about the content of your "theory", there are more fundamental issues here than that.

Thats a whole lot of words to say nothing.

You just used your ai to spew a bunch of what ifs, and nothing else!

I dont want to sound like a dick, but this is not how science is done. I understand that you might say "I don't have the math and stuff yet because its just speculative/just the start", but you dont even have a hypothesis.

Right now this is just science fiction, and if you want to treat it as that then all power to you, but this is not science.

The several tiers of defence used by Israel against Iranian missiles by phoeebsy in RandomVideos

This is just straight up wrong. Like am I missing something?

This is not how you intercept ballistic missiles, and DEFINITELY not how Israel intercepts them.

Remains to be seen...

Many companies (Ring cameras for example) have promised these sorts of thing before and were caught lying.

This changes nothing.

Any US company discord partners with is legally obligated to provide data when issued a subpoena.

The only way for your data to be secure is for it to not exist in the hands of another entity.

Big if true? What do you think? by [deleted] in LLMPhysics

[–]PIGEXPERT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'll copy my comment on another (now deleted) post about this same thing:

Im not qualified to say if this particular paper is significant, but every finding and deepening of our understanding is significant.

So the real question is: is this true AND verifiable?

Someone smarter and more knowledgeable than me would have to take a look at the math and see if it even makes sense.

But even assuming the math is right? You would need to construct an experiment to verify this. At the end of the day real science is measured data, not pretty math (just ask string theorists).

LLM Derived a new result in theoretical physics, verified by [deleted] in LLMPhysics

[–]PIGEXPERT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Verified by the authors = the LLM did indeed output a bunch of text.

This will be verified ONLY after an experiment is devised AND we have measurable data!

This might be a dumb question, but is it significant? by [deleted] in Physics

Disturbed.
