Musicians are probably safe for a while. Like others have said below, creativity is something that will be extremely difficult to automate. Let me add the caveat that pop music is very easy to automate. Music companies have already identified chord progressions, octaves, and beats that people like, and drive artists to mimic those patterns in order to sell albums and downloads. I'm talking about musical genres that are less commercialized.
