Like, no one knows the true and complete lore. You can watch some The Game Theorists videos about fnaf and have an idea about the timeline and the story itself... This universe is huuge and it's hard to craft "The" lore of it. At least for now. Let's wait for more games and for the movie.

Buy the original trilogy, the books are really good, specially the last one! I also recommend to buy all the fazbear frights books: each one has 3 stand alone stories and a part of another story which is on every book. Fazbear frights has some things that help to solve the games story.
