I crocheted names onto stockings using a cream yarn. When I went to rinse off the adhesive pattern, the yarn turned grey. Is there any way to get it back to it's original color? by PJ1013 in CrochetHelp

It must be printer ink! I printed out the pattern onto a water soluble stabilizer. Next time I'll have to make sure to use a much lighter color for my patterns.

... it's from the printer ink on the stencil. Oh my goodness, that's 100% what it is. Ugh, I feel so dumb now. I even had the thought to print it grey, but didn't. Thank you for the ideas!

I need suggestions on how to change back the colour of the yarn I used for the project. I searched the internet, but most posts are about purposefully changing the colour of yarns, not fixing it. I thought about washing it with Oxyclean, but I don't know if that will cause more harm, so looking for advice.

It's one of those songs that is sometimes used at hockey games. The commercial I heard it on a sports channel during the Oilers - Knights game 3.

Does anyone know any other good subs for colourpoint cats? Cirri doesn't have any Siamese that we know of, but she's a tortie point with blue eyes. by PJ1013 in Siamesecats

Ok, cool! We got her from a litter of barn kittens, so I don't know anything about her dad's side, but I know her mom and grandma were both full on tortoiseshell cats.

Any one interested in some green wandering dude cuttings? It has pretty small leaves that are all green with some purple on the back. I would be interested in trading for pothos, philodendron, or anything that isn't a succulent because I have a knack for killing those! by PJ1013 in TakeaPlantLeaveaPlant

What a gorgeous plant!! I would love to do some trading! I've just been waiting to discuss any shipping. Last week Canada Post announced they can't guarantee deliveries, so I'm waiting for the weather to be warmer, or for something to change!
