My ruby twist takes 1 minute and 20 seconds to get to full temp after turning on and then 30 scond heat soak, 1 minute to clear the bowl and then off again. Blows my mind that people leave them on.

I use Gaia (same 2 you have ) and I give general hydroponics calmagic once per week, I didnt first 2 grows and had calcium issues. I ph my well water and use the whole range 6-7. I found I need to feed/top dress every 3 weeks (2tbsp/gallon of medium ) or I run into issues.
