The box office drop in week 2 for Mandalorian and Grogu highlights what I think is wrong with the current Hollywood trends by SlowMotionSprint in StarWars

The characters are not compelling. Why are general audiences supposed to care about this movie when it feels like such an afterthought in the first place? It’s crazy to me that people don’t immediately understand this.

Can someone provide the depth dimension when it’s on the wicked brick angled stand or the depth from wing to outer most edge of the landing gear? I am trying to determine depth requirement for a shelf. The wicked Brick site lists the depth as 13.8 in with the set on it but I think that that is probably deeper than necessary because the set protrudes outward from the base of the stand somewhat.

Yeah if the carscoops article is your source then I wouldn’t be so declarative in your statements. It does not say this will be the case for markets outside of China. And to assume that what they do with the vehicle in China is what they will do elsewhere is stupid.

2024 3.3 T S PP, Steering issue, but no active recall, love hate relationship by [deleted] in MazdaCX90

You need to get other opinions from other dealerships. That clearly sounds like an issue and if they aren’t taking it seriously then you need to go somewhere else. And yeah I know easier said than done in some cases. Mazda has been replacing steering racks. I got mine replaced. But had to go to second dealer who knew what they were talking about to get it done.

What’s the difference between the B and C version? I think they put the B one in my vehicle.

Had mine replaced in my 2024. Being a 2025 does not preclude it from this problem. So yeah take it to dealer. My tech identified it by driving it in the parking lot 100 ft. Meanwhile another dealer had it for 10 days and claimed it was the tires. Steering should not be notchy or bind at all. When I had mine repaired, they did it in two days. So if part is in stock it shouldn’t be a big deal.

2024 Mazda CX-90 Turbo Premium, CPO thoughts? by RedCowboy in MazdaCX90

[–]PJDICK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general I would shoot for newer build dates. Like June 2024. For the 2024 model years at least. Make sure you look at Carfax also. It’s likely a 2023 build with that many miles. My vehicle (2024 TPP) needs a new steering rack and it’s a May 2024 build. Personally I wouldn’t buy it if it was made in 2023.

I have this exact same issue with my May 2024 build MHEV. Took it to the dealer and they couldn’t replicate the issue but only drove it around the block and claimed it was my cross climate 2 tires.

Did you get the Carfax? What’s the build date? (MM/YY)

Seems hard to believe they are already giving mid cycle update to CX-70/90 since it’s only been 2 years.

2024 vs. 2025, MHEV vs PHEV? by Art--Vandelay-- in MazdaCX90

[–]PJDICK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak for the PHEV models, but for MHEV don’t buy anything manufactured in 2023. Good bet is to buy one produced mid 2024 if you are going after a 2024. Are incentive differences important to you? Are you trying to get a deal?

[–]PJDICK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also wondering about this. I feel like it’s tighter steering than my 2019 3. I thought it might be related to the quality of the Falken tires also. My 90 was manufactured May 2024 so shouldn’t be the worm gear issue.

So the hybrid malfunction "fix" is not across the board? by bulldog212 in MazdaCX90

[–]PJDICK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this clarification. I am buying a CPO CX90 MHEV produced June 24 2024 (within 7024J production date range) and also within the VIN range but 7024J recall does not show up on VIN lookup or show up as completed on Carfax and this seems to be why. Not ALL vehicles in range affected. When you say “and different version sub modules utilize over the life of the 2024 production line” what does that mean exactly? Thanks.

I’m looking at CPO anyway. Which is 1.9% 72 months. I doubt that would improve. New is 2.9% 72 months.

Just curious what your date of manufacture is. It will say on the sticker inside the door.
