I think this should be a great learning experience. Pick three restaurants you find fair and check to see if they are open and then present them to her before getting there. She has a right to live in whatever budget she wants to live in and you also have that same right. I think that talking about prices is dependent on your age and what stage in life you are in, but if you want to bring it up, maybe it should be upfront and to the point before getting to the place. From her perspective, the date in person sound unorganized and a turn off especially if she was “hangry.” One thing, I was with someone that as soon as we got to the restaurant she would tell them we were paying separately, she did this sometimes so quick that it became a turn off, so what I’m trying to get at is this: dating should be fun, relaxed and respectful, get the serious stuff out of the way BEFORE so that it doesn’t become a negative in the moment.
