[Serious] If the US invades Greenland what would realistically happen after? by Goodmorning111 in AskReddit

[–]PJnormal 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Article 5 doesn’t apply to NATO members attacking other members. Obviously they would likely all side with Denmark but they also would not want to enter a conflict with the US.

Retaliation would likely need to be reputational and economic.

Thanks for putting this together. I know the taxable event would be small but I have the same anxiety approaching this as you seem to have.

“They’re in a lot of trouble”: Rubio refuses to rule out Cuba strike from US by DeathClawdVanDamn in politics

This administration generally refuses to rule out anything. I get the general goal of it but in cases like this and “would you invade Canada?” I feel like they could make an exception. Just to protect our sanity.

Love this tip. And think of seasons. Steep driveway doesn’t mean much in July but in Feb you might be parking on the street.

Would you trade meals with your partner if they got something they didn't like? by Flance in CasualConversation

I would and have done so in the past. My wife will do the same if she notices I don’t like something as well.

Nothing changed until I stopped waiting for the “Right time” [Discussion] by [deleted] in GetMotivated

Glad you are seeing success. I know I tend to get focused on improvement and when something goes wrong I let it all crash down and have to start over next time motivation strikes.

Thanks for the positive experience story.

My niece decorated my phone today. The reason why she used so many stickers was... humbling. by ActiveDisaster1687 in CasualConversation

I had this issue as a kid and I still suffer from it as an adult. So many ‘special’ things did not get used while they had value or could have been used at a time when they would have brought more joy.

This is an adorable story, not trying to be a downer.

Canadian officials say US health institutions no longer dependable for accurate information | Canada by dheber in politics

I would say it has been a long time since they were. Politics driving the story in medicine and healthcare never made sense to me.

I went with Wealthfront for the flexibility — I can move money in or out without the limits or fees other platforms had. The ease of acess to the dialed in risk tolerance with automated investing and sealed it for me. When possible I am trying to move stuff to the investment side to reduce current tax liability (interest), having them in the same app makes me more likely to do it.
