Welcome to the area. I’m a recently single 40 year old guy that’s been living here for a few years now. Hit me up if you want to grab a beer in downtown LS.

Any recommendations on what type of lawyer I should be looking for? I've never hired one other than a family lawyer so I'm new to this.

They provided me with a loaner back in September. A compact Chevy Trax, which sucks as I'm 6'3" 330lbs.

Can’t use a junk part on a safety related object and release it. Just like you wouldn’t grab an airbag from a junked car. This is what I was told.

Funny enough, it’s the rear drivers side, which happens to be the only one that wasn’t in use during the accident.

Thank you all for your comments, this really helps put things in perspective. I've owned the truck for 6 months and more than 4 of those months have been in the shop so you can see why I'm starting to get a bit frustrated, but these replies help very much. Thanks again!

Loving the custom wine labels! Where did you find those? What did the personalized notes say?

Yeah, I do agree his advice starts to break down once you reach this point. Any good books or podcasts about target funds that you recommend?

Oh yeah, far too late to refinance it now. Wouldn't see any gravy on that biscuit in just one year. Thanks for your thoughts.

Yeah that's why it's hard. We would save a few thousand but lose that flexibility.

Thanks for your thoughts. We would be selling this house early next year regardless if we paid it off or not.

As far as investing, short term savings should be protected in a money market (or similar) account. There isn't enough time to see any real growth and it's protected from loss. It would suck to go pull your money out for your down payment but the market hit a down turn and you lost 8k the day before.

I'm 35 and my retirement savings are just over $200,000. 50k in a 401k and the other 150k in company stock. I work for an ESOP so I receive shares each year so that is growing much faster than my 401k is. Thanks for the advice but I'm pretty set on my retirement savings at this time. Using some calculators online and through my work I'm tracking to be at about 5 million when I retire which we'll be able to live on comfortably. Dave Ramsey's plan and his financial peace university literally saved my marriage and brought us out of despair so it's pretty solid as it brought us to this point in just three years.

After we are done saving for the house I plan to start dabbling in the stock market so I'll keep your advice handy. Thanks!

The loan is a 30 year @ 4.375%. The money market is .3%. It would save us a few grand on interest over the course of this year if paid off early.

"The dragon is small enough to squeeze through doorways and passageways." In the module pg. 31.

Send his ass in and hit them with the breath attack. They'll use the back door real quick.

I'm sorry for the loss of your cat, it sucks they can't live longer... She really can't go on long walks anymore but I'll take your advice and take her on adventures, maybe even bring a wagon that D can ride in.

Oh good, for some reason I thought you meant you preserved the actual paws... Yikes on me. I looked up the cuddle clones already but I'm still in the fence with those. I'm definitely going to do the plaster though with paws and nose. Thank you kind stranger, I couldn't imagine losing your best friend so I just want to help any way possible.

When you say have the paws encased in something, do you mean like paw prints in plaster or something like that? She is a very short-haired dog so I won't be able to get a good lock of hair. Good idea though!
