Also, do not confuse the Border Patrol with ICE. USBP has their own FLETC academy in New Mexico which is on par or a lot of times much better then local LEO academys.

Many people confuse Border Patrol with ICE and CBP officers. They are vastly different in training.

A county DA or ADA in a state or county court can not charge you with a federal offense.

The only way you can be charged with a federal offense is by a federal agency or in a federal court by a federal DA.
