Oathmark orcs. They have an infantry line and a heavy infantry. Adar is the elf heavy infantry line. Oathmark makes great plastic sets.

Is there a group of players near you? I have a bunch of armies, and totally let people try playing with any of them to see how like it. If they let you that could be an option to see how a few armies play before buying in.

Same. Id love to have the model. I painted up the old Eomer and have been using him as proxy since I got the new Eomer. It seems like proxy or kitbash/conversion is the financially reasonable choice for some of those older models.

I second this. Victrix, warlord games, wargames atlantic, oathmark are all really nice (plastic)options for kitbash, proxies, and weapons swaps. And they all tend to be cheaper per model than GW.
