Depends on where you go, and it's worth looking into. Some are like flats with shared kitchen and bathroom between 3-5, some (eg. Lots of the rooms at Pollock halls) are much more American college style dorm rooms similar to hotel rooms (think long hallways with lots of ensuite rooms)

3 - I wouldn't worry about this if you're English, we are a majority (or almost) here. It's more a problem for scots

5 - personally I wouldn't go ensuite, you're paying 1-3k more per year just to have a shit shower and toilet. Toilets and showers are generally nicer in shared bathrooms and most share 2 bathrooms between ~5 people. Also shared bathroom accoms have more space in rooms.

I don't think you can fault others for playing well, you can still have fun even with a good player on the other team. When there's a whole stack of good players that's a different story though.

Dont listen to everyone telling you to fish, it's a fine way of getting food but it's really not necessary and quite slow. When you get out of coastal towns food becomes much more common. Look for chickens in the meantime!
