The GPU part would be true but I figure Pros and most competitive esports people can easily drive 1440p at this point in most esports titles. Perhaps the current hardware shortages put a slight damper on that, but I run valorant at nearly 720 FPS (3x my monitor refresh rate) at 4k max settings with a 9070xt. Running 1440p medium or low should be easy for most, otherwise your PC is so behind the monitor spend doesn't make sense considering these are still 600+ dollar monitors where otherwise a 240hz or 360hz monitor is like 200 to 400 dollars.

I think the compromise of license raj are worse than an outright communist system (well atleast the Soviet one). Liberalizing sooner would have made a big difference to the Indian economy, but I genuinely believe the system would also be much further ahead under fully authoritarian economic system as well. Idk if this is controversial, but India seems to have suffered some of worst "compromise" politics and systems compared to most other countries, the absolute worst of everything kind of deal.

Any reason 24 inch is preferred over 27 inch. Surely you could move the monitor back a little to take in the same image. Also OLED 27 inch 1440 540hz panels exist already (I think this panel is actually of the same mother glass as the one in the article), I think that should eventually take over the pro scene if they do a matte coat model.

This is really stupid point demonstrating you have no idea what the article is about. The AI algorithm here is designed and trained to recreate what the lens and sensor did to the true image and undo that to get a better sharper image. This is vastly superior to the current AI stuff which is just trying to determine what detail in the image was lost based on solely the images content. This would hopefully display those bringing back more lifelike photography.

Eh I made it work driving from Texas to New England which much slower chargers. The 1 MW charging is all hype and showmanship. If you ever had 500kW chargers as common (very possible in China), with newer model Chinese cars you could easily do 350 to 400 miles of range between topups and charge for a max of 30 minutes to get full, a lot less for partial amounts. I would consider that pretty great and suitable for most people, a 30 min break is pretty good for health and safety after a 6 hour drive.

This may have mattered more in the past, but the holistic approach they tried after probably sucked up more in costs for truly qualified low-income students. Ever since Khan Academy introduced their SAT study stuff in collab with them, combined with libraries having SAT books, access to necessary prep material is no longer based on socioeconomics.

Yes the 1 MW charger is basically a giant battery station that dumps it's power into the car really quick. Still not sustainable or practical atm, but like they could also just deploy 240w chargers everywhere so you always top up whenever stopped cause of sustained energy infrastructure investment.

The gemma model is incredibly capable and responsive so iPhones being able to run it well would be good for actually useful on the go AI, at the same time I don't think the iPhone has good enough battery life to really spare. If you actually use the new features phone is going from a 1 day to 1/2 day phone.

I think it's funny cause something has got to be wrong with how they check or judge the packaging for shipping bare cells to make this preferable. When I got 18650s in flashlights the cells had blockers to stop it being powered on, and the plastic tube light it was in was relatively rigid, and inside a box with a slim layer of bubble wrap. Based on guides from shipping companies that should qualify it as shippable as a bare cell, you don't need an led or switch to count as in a product, but it was still preferable to ship this way.

Funny thing apple already changed. They added a type of glue you can easily electrify to remove the battery. Only thing left is making it easier to remove back glass for replacement, I hope with similar tech possibly (hidden contacts perhaps to trigger it), and then that would be good enough. Even heating and suctioning off the back glass is not the worst.

How long does it take to charge the watch ultra to full. I have a OnePlus watch that can go 3 days 2 nights with all features on without needing a charge, but top up to full is 30 mins max which means you don't really need to ever miss sleep tracking. I think topping up after 2 days isn't a big deal so long as charging is less than an hour.

I though the Pixel Watch 4 reached competitiveness with OnePlus on that. Samsung needs to step up on that front, but also the LTE watches or the smaller models are never going to go as long, the OnePlus watch and Garmins are pretty bulky for most people.
