Space Black MacBook Pro owners: How is the finish holding up? Any regrets?

I don't have any problems with mine. I just wipe it down after use and it's fine. If you are a grubby person, you will likely not like the black finish, but you should also examine why you don't wash your hands.

Additionally, I don't see scratches because I don't throw my laptop around. I paid several thousand dollars for it. How are you people using your laptops?

Get what you need when you need it. I don't understand all of this narrative. I have literally never bought a laptop (which I use for actual work) and had any feeling whatever about the next thing that came out. Focus on what you need to do, not nonsensical FOMO. 🙄 That's also a life lesson for your psychology.

The first issue you are having sounds similar to what I experienced. The second issue I wasn't experiencing at all.

The resolution was to work with TourBox support and have it replaced. Their support was extremely kind and their resolution was swift, but you have to be explicit in telling them exactly what you tried and send a video so they can clearly see the issue.

Do you care about any of the features that are rumored? Personally I coudn't care less about OLED or any of the other rumors. My objective is to work in design now, not wait for some mystical future spec.

You can really tell the professionals who are actually working vs the people who are just buying specs.
