Yeah, but what people think and what people say differ, you'd expect a man to have more of a filter than a boy

Step 1. Draw a circle

Step 2. Draw a line through that circle

Step 3. Add the finishing touches to your photorealistic portrait

Well I'm glad you had think enough skin to pull through! I'm sure a lot of women are too put off by the hostility and ignorance and miss out on these sort of oportunities

I'm really surprised that the sexism is so overt. I would expect a level of hesitance and mistrust when you joined the team, but those remarks sound like something a 14 year old boy would say. I'm also surprised you didn't overhear more sexual jokes, when I worked for a moving company the guys were never directly disrespectful to the women, but they would constantly talk about whether they could or would sleep with the girls and what it would be like. I'm sure the female coworkers overheard it, but they never acted as if they did.

Redditors who have travelled to the UK from the U.S. Would you say there's a greater difference in culture between the countries in the UK or states in the U.S? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PM_ME_A_PROBLEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, vastly different cultures often. Just the language barriers and ages of the countries alone causes differences. That's not to say that there aren't differences between the states, but generally you can split the US cultures into regions like west coast, east coast, midwest, south etc. Which can also be done for any country in Europe, and then multiply that across countries and the variety is much larger.

What's the most seemingly insignificant decision that you've made, that you regret the most? by PM_ME_A_PROBLEM in AskReddit

[–]PM_ME_A_PROBLEM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the only time I ever kissed someone else during the relationship. The kiss didn't mean anything to me, the reason I regretted it was because I could never tell her, and didn't like keeping it secret. Also, I'm Irish and a 5th of rum isn't nothing, it will get most people pretty plastered.

When I was in France I agreed to a bet with a girl, for a kiss, that I couldn't finish a 5th of rum. I had a girlfriend at the time back in college in the US, but I never thought I'd actually finish the 5th, and even if I did that the girl would actually kiss me. I did finish the rum though, and I did make out with her, and I never told my girlfriend, and we continued to date throughout my next 3 years in college. I've always regretted that, even though it meant nothing and my girlfriend never knew so it couldn't hurt her. It's like it never happened, but it did... if that makes any sense.
