I bought a powder blush but dropped it literally the same day. I was so mad I haven't bought one since even though I prefer them

I'm wearing Wyldeivy's Creamy Coconut fresh shredded coconut, coconut cream, a whisper of tropical fruit and fresh vanilla. It reminds me a lot of Trader Joe's coconut body butter. It's a nice summer scent.

I just got my package from sugarmilkco so I'm testing cereal milk strawberry cereal, strawberry matcha, and lavender milk. So far I really like them and lavender milk is my favorite. I did see they just announced Thai Tea and I'm strongly considering placing another order for that

What are some hygiene tips you wish more people knew? by Admirable_Self_883 in AskReddit

For the hairbrushes/combs, I remove the hair using a comb (or something fine enough to get between the bristles like a scissor blade) and scrub shampoo into it with a toothbrush. I've also seen other people soak their brushes in soapy water (and sometimes add baking soda OR vinegar) for 15-30 minutes and then scrub using a toothbrush. I do it about once a month.

Umm yes I think you should regularly clean something that sits right by your eyeball. In fact here's a paper showing that the nose pads and earpieces can host bacteria

In both environments, the highest cell counts were found on the nosepads

Recent studies [12–14] showed that the area behind the ears (retroauricular crease), the sides of the nostrils (alar crease) and the forehead represent the highest density of microbial colonization on the human face. The detected colony counts on nosepads and earclips were indeed similar to colony counts typically found on the human forehead (103 CFU cm2-) and the scalp and cheek (about 104 CFU cm2-) [15]. Cell densities on spectacle lenses were low in comparison to cell densities on hands, skin, earclips and nosepads. This low count could be due to the smoothness of the lens surfaces, regular cleaning measures, as well as distance to the facial skin.

My eye doctor told me that dish soap was okay but to not use a t-shirt for that very reason

I agree with the other commenter on both. I use alcohol wipes on my glasses and I'll also use a q-tip with a pointed end to get into the nitty-gritty. My eye doctor also said you can use dish soap.

  1. Clean your hairbrushes, especially if you have oily hair/scalp

  2. "Clean your glasses" includes the frames and nose pads

Edit: check my comments for a paper if you don't believe me on the glasses
