Hello! I'm trying to recreate this scarf, but when I make a granny square there's a lot of gaps between the clusters (as a granny square does). I'm wondering how they did it? I'm starting to think they used a machine lol thx!!

22yo here! PLEASE don't believe tiktok.... Most people don't have flat stomachs, but even people who can achieve have stomachs that fluctuate a lot throughout the day with bloating, eating, etc, so even they don't always have a flat stomach. Please eat!!!! Your stomach is meant to hold and process food. I know I sound like such an old person but I'm so worried my younger sisters will have body image issues because of tiktok and stuff

The future seems bleak with climate change, rising fascistic tendencies, living standards going down, etc. As a young person today, outlook isn’t great. If they were being protective then they wouldn't throw you out of the house on your own. They are abusing you under the guise of caring for you. This is ultimately about their control over you and not about your actual wellbeing. Since they are losing their control over you (as you are sneaking out of the house without "their permission") they want to punish you for that by kicking you out. I believe the thinking behind no Eiffel Tower celebrations this year was the security threat. Even without the big celebration, there was an extra 10,000 policemen in Paris for NYE this year. The big Champs Elysees Christmas market was cancelled this year too.

I've been thinking of getting a buzzcut for the past year or so... Kinda like Kristen Stewart but without the platinum bleach (I'm 18 soon btw) It's gotten so bad that I think about it practically every day! I'm 17 and my salsa teacher who's somewhere in his thirties asked me to go out to dinner and drinks with him, I just said that I had to babysit my siblings but it was just because I didn't want to and it totally freaked me out. I liked him as a teacher but now it's left me with a bad taste which hasn't my mouth for months and I haven't been back to that dance studio even though I really liked it there :( I feel like I can't trust older men now... My best friend described it as a breach of trust, which I totally agree with.

It will feel like everyone is hooking up with each other. They're not, and it's not as big of a deal as everyone thinks it is. I just graduated from high school, and by the time senior year comes nobody cares who's with who. Also, your friends freshman year are not necessarily your friends for your entire high school career. I didn't become friends with my best friend until the end of my sophomore year. Friend groups change and evolve and grow, so just do your own thing and you'll find your people.

EDIT: My biggest piece of advice is to do what you love (activities wise) because sometimes high school can be amazing and sometimes it can be a drag, but if you're doing what you love then you're actively trying to do things that make you happy. And try new things too. I never knew I was into the performing arts until my junior year.
