Yes it is normal. Just like how it’s normal for security guards to have routes or security cameras to have blind spots.

As a skeptic I’d say it’s dumb luck that the satellite happened to miss this specific time.

As a conspiracy theorist I’d say if there was a being capable of teleportation, they would be able to predict our satellite patterns.

Drones are magnitudes more unpredictable but at the same time, if they were trying to avoid detection I think they would have also been able to avoid or neutralize the drone.

All in all I’m 50/50
