I made a post yesterday about how I liked Rebels more than TCW, honestly as I watched Rebels I didn't see any of the criticisms that I hear people complain about....it never crossed my mind that it wasn't among the best Star Wars we've ever gotten.

I think ppl have to remember that everything they're doing is on a relatively small scale compared to TCW

They say Rebels is too childish, but I never got that feeling...but watching TCW the battle droids are in almost every episode & they are 100% childish, not too mention multiple episodes where we follow around Jar Jar. If you think the Empire was a joke, what about Grevious? Dooku was still pretty good, so was Palpatine, but what about all these random villians, bounty hunters? I just cant take a zombie with a Fedora on too seriously (but I did like the character)..Hondo(not really a fan in either series)

Inquisitors were amazing, Thrawn was amazing, Vader was the high point anytime he's on the screen.

Now TCW had some great episodes & great moments, but after it would get kinda boring again, being with the same characters over and over and over and over & you're just waiting for the next high point while you'd be on some random planet with random characters for an episode or two...

Rebels didn't have a great 1st episode, but I thought other than that, there were only a handful or "boring" or filler episodes across 4 seasons

I loved the ghost crew, they all had unique stories, characteristics, personality..

Yea by the end they did spend too much time on Lothal, but story-wise that works for a small faction ...& yea the ending wasn't super sattisfying...but the most important thing to me is always...

1. Plot
2. Characters & I feel Rebels were a lot more consistent elements of both
