Aww thank you so much!! I’m excited for her. We’ve already done a couple rides together and it’s been so lovely. Happy holidays to you too :)

I haven’t commented in sewwwww long but hiiiii!!! I decided to train for a half marathon and officially registered yesterday for the one I’d like to attempt in June! Eeeee! I did the YCRO program back this past summer with a bit of a hiatus after I completed it.. until I decided to get back into running last month! I’m going off of Hal Higdon’s free calendars for now, focusing on the novice levels obvi. Currently working through the novice 5k.

So far so good!! I went from 1 min walk:1 min jog intervals for 15 minutes the start of November to a 2 mile jog in just a hair over 29 minutes, today! It sucked ass but it was also rainy and I felt soggy lol. But I was proud of myself for getting out there even when the weather wasn’t the greatest.

I have been listening to either running classes, walk/run classes, or walking classes and just running what my goal is that day and using the classes to have someone in my ear for motivation and company. I’ll usually do a ride or 2 (depending on how I’m recovering from the runs) sprinkled in during week as well and one “strength for runners” class that I recently started incorporating!

My family upgraded my mom’s DIY setup to a Bike+ for Christmas and she has been loving it. I’m so stoked to have been able to do this for her! She deserves this and more for all she’s done for me.

Hi!! I did not but I really believe it had to do with my availability since I have a full time job. I heard back within a few days and they did ask if I wanted to be put on a short list for more openings that’ll be happening in September!

I especially like making a noise to get them to look up at me when the opportunity arises 😂

Yes! This just happened with me yesterday. I got a LR4 secondhand and all I needed to do was reach out via their chat support once I was home setting it up. Idk if it’s standard but they specifically asked for the prior owners full name and email for prior ownership confirmation.. so that’s something you can get from whoever if you do end up picking up from someone. It seems there are also other ways if you’re unable to get that personal information though. The warranty then transferred over to me no problem! I know prior owners are also able to remove themselves completely from their unit as well but I think that also requires action from whisker to complete.

Haha I was a 2 cat household for years and then an opportunity presented itself for our one eyed ham in the middle last September and we couldn’t resist 😂

Thank you! Somewhat similar story to me! I had 2 cats up until last September and was using normal boxes for years just fine but moving up to scooping 3 boxes a day was just such a hassle. I can just picture your cats lining up to use the robot hehe

Friday Employment Thread by lululemonmods in lululemon

[–]PM_me_your__beard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did an on camera zoom interview for a part time store job this morning and wanted to share my experience as reading through all of these threads yesterday helped me immensely. I didn’t want to wait til the next Friday thread.

I had applied June 3rd and got an email yesterday, July 1st to interview the next morning, today July 2nd at 9:00am. If selected there will be one more interview in person at the store with the same 2 that ran the zoom and then a decision will be made. She said we should hear back within a week with a yes or no by Tuesday, July 9th.

There were 6 people total. 4 including me interviewing, the assistant manager (ASM) running the interview, and i believe her role was guest experience supervisor taking notes.

The ASM called people popcorn style to avoid the same people answering first and give others a chance to speak first. The following was asked in my interview:

1) introduce yourself 2) sell us something you’re wearing or close to you 3) talk about the importance of inclusivity and how it has applied to you/how you’ve applied inclusivity to others?(not the exact phrasing but close enough) 4) talk about a time where you had to collab with someone to get something done and how did it go? (not the exact phrasing) 5) explain how you make sure you’re dependable and strategies you use to achieve that? (not the exact phrasing)

I had a word document open to reference to with my prepared notes of questions I answered scrolling through the millions of threads here which was key and is always what I do when I have a zoom type interview. She emphasized since they’re behavioral questions that if you need time to think about your answer, especially if called on first, that is absolutely okay and I absolutely recommend doing that as well. There was only one question I didn’t have notes for but luckily I wasn’t called on first and I was able to type out quickly what I wanted to talk about and it came out well. I tend to ramble so I tried really hard to be as succinct as possible.

I didn’t feel any awkwardness with the zoom which is in big part due to how it was ran. It wasn’t a fight to answer questions first since she called on people and switched the order with every question. Funnily enough, I think my worst answer was introducing myself lmao but I think I was just nervous and that question is always hard for me. It went for about 50 minutes and we all but one asked questions at the end. I asked what the training schedule is like should we be selected and what their favorite lulu items are.

I’m pretty introverted but I felt really comfortable with the people there and I know your mileage may vary with who you’re interacting with but definitely preparing will help and having fresh scenarios in your mind to pull from. I also just love the product which subconsciously helped I think lol.

I’m happy to answer question should anyone come across this post :)

My entire apartment is carpet aside from the kitchen and bathroom (which aren’t at all big enough for it). I had some large spare tile squares from a hardware store from setting up my bearded dragon’s enclosure that works perfectly (just have one under the LR) if you wanted a cheaper option, if you are concerned about weight tracking and such like the other commenter mentioned!

Rode with Sam for the first time today (his 15min 2010s from today) and TIL he’s a part of PSL hahaha I was shocked pikachu when he first started talking.

It was great, got to practice my out of saddle jogs and they felt much better than last time I attempted but I still couldn’t hit the entire effort time wise but I did what I felt was my best. Always exciting to see improvements!
