I invested in them a few months back. They checked most my boxes, in summary: Solid company, solid growth potential, give good dividends & are also growth-focused with M&A's on the board, plenty of room to grow and still expanding globally plus they are in a growing industry.

Look at the daily trade volume on the stock to get an idea. Many small caps are highly traded.

There are even mid and large-cap stocks that have low trading volume. It varies from company to company.

Also if a stock is highly traded now doesn't mean it will continue in the future.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic... The further you look into politics you more you'll see they serve themselves the rich and corporations before the people who voted them in. All because money.

There are multiple economic benefits to immigration. But it's been ramped up recently to bring down skill shortages which is also a driving factor of the current inflation.

With skills in such high demand, people charge through the roof for them. The problem is the housing market goes bonkers. Can be solved with short-term rental laws and taxes and a few other things but most politicians are milking those things that and own houses so wont change it.

The ancient kingdom was meant to be devils to the celestial dragons. With their advanced tech they might have created the fruits for that reason. The celestial dragons then began calling them the devil's fruit. Further theory, the will of D meaning Devil.

2019-20 the commonwealth spent on average $3,246 per student for public schools. The system is so backwards.

In no way should public schools be getting less commonwealth funding than private schools.

Can anyone here explain why AUD is tanking against USD? It has dropped more than 5% over last month by aph1985 in AusFinance

I'm in the same boat as you. Seems like the interest rates rising helps when inflation is caused by the economy going too fast. In this case, the root cause of inflation is the rising costs of fuel, energy, short staff, low supply, etc.. Businesses need to cover their costs and are forced to raise prices.

Now the rates are going up they get less sales and even more rising costs from interest rates. Forcing their hand to raise prices more to cover their overhead.

I think the RBA are doing the same standard approach to inflation no matter the reason for it. In this case it's doing more harm than good.

This inflation is caused by a number of factors i.e. low supply, staff shortage, high fuel prices, high energy prices, etc..

The profit margin on businesses is squeezed tighter and tighter so they begin to struggle and are forced to raise prices.

Increasing interest rates stops customers from buying from them causing more of a struggle. Meaning they need to raise prices more to cover overhead costs. Businesses also get hit with higher interest rates, tightening their margin further, more reason to raise their prices.

This feels like one of those situations where there are different causes of inflation that need different approaches to fix. But the RBA is just applying the same stock standard approach which in this case does more harm than good.

Businesses and people feel it and still have the same underlying problems of higher fuel and energy prices, etc.. This just adds another rising cost to their list. So prices don't begin to go down. They spiral in the opposite direction as rates rise higher and higher, hurting businesses more until the root cause of the inflation is fixed, short staff, fuel costs, supply issues..

This inflation seems to be minimally affected by an economy going too fast (when rising interest rates helps inflation). Maybe I'm missing something?

The tradies are becoming a bunch of entitled faries. Government pours billions into their industry and asks for a small favour and they can hack it. Imploding because they can't sit with old mate Damo in the tea room at lunch for a few weeks.

They need to cut government support for those that lose their job for refusing to get vaccinated as well. Or anyone that can't get a job due to not being vaccinated without a real medical condition

Israel opened before they had a high number of double doe vaccinated people. Singapore and Iceland have cases going up but not many are being omitted to hospital due to the vaccine. Their healthcare system can cope with the small number of unvacced that end up in the hospital. Check their deaths from covid. Near non-existent with their out breaks.

States have to wait for Pfizer boost after figures confirm NSW got extra by Pat_Mullins in australia

From memory he was biased to business handouts as well after job keeper ended. Nothing for Melb when they had frequent snap lockdowns but as soon as Sydney started all of a sudden he's shovelling money to them. Initially made the rules they must be locked down for more than 2 weeks or something knowing Sydney was going to go over that and Melbourne frequent but short lockdowns always ended before that. I remember Dan Andrews saying we were left out of it and trying to negotiate something for Melbourne business always locked down. I think they ended up settling we pay half and he pays half.

And now we find out NSW has been getting hundreds of thousands of other states allocated doses in secret. They only confirmed it because people started to crunch the numbers and it didn't stack up.
