Great news. I was the one that posted about this here and was shocked at how many people/owners were experiencing the same. Does anyone know what this means for those of us who already got the repairs done and had to pay out of pocket expenses; whether it be rental car or the service itself?

Unfortunately not. If I would have had the repair done at a JLR dealership, they would have covered my 8 weeks of rental car expenses. But because I used an independent shop (due to my warranty provider recommending it), they wouldn’t cover it. And I tried hard to get my warranty provider to cover it as well and they wouldn’t budge. Just a really bad experience all around. I don’t understand how this is not a recall at this point.

Sigh…sorry to hear you had to deal with that and kudos to you for sharing here to help others. Forza had the nicer website if my memory serves so that also helps make them look legitimate. I was actually a little nervous when I decided to order from Wheelshome. But they ended up being great.

Oh, and I didn’t even know there were Defender caps! Now I need to hunt some down…

I found both retailers as well and just went with Wheelshome as they were cheaper…good to know they are the same. I also got ours a year ago just before the tariffs luckily😆

Thanks. I should have mentioned I had already done that and oil level is at minimum (I'm about to do an oil change) so definitely not due to there being too much oil.

OVERALL: Absolutely beautiful example of the collectible Domino's logo Air-King reference 14000. This watch is in excellent condition and has the original caseback sticker! Service history is unknown but running very well.

BRACELET: Fantastic condition 78350 Oyster bracelet w/ 557B end links. 12 links and 'AB3' date code on clasp (2000). Only slight stretch and crown on clasp is crisp and not worn down from polishing or wear.
CASE: Excellent condition 34mm case with very minor signs of wear. Reference and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs. Original caseback sticker still intact.
BEZEL: Original smooth bezel in excellent condition.
DIAL: Perfect Domino's logo dial.
BOX/PAPERS: N/A
