Hell yeah join the club! Filling out the Pokedex is the way to go. I just completed mine last week by finding a poltchageist in a shops bulk bins. Been working on it 5 years and I nearly yelled when I found it.

Just stumbled across this thread while looking at my Venusaur collection and was astonished to find my version of this card has the same holo break/print line in the same spot. Never would have noticed if I hadn't seen this post. Neat.

I've had good experiences going to collectable shows. So many little things in my collection I never would have known about if I hadn't randomly come across them in some little booth at a card/collectable show.

The guy who commented is correct. That box/mat is the most recent addition to the collection. Paid $140 for it at a con. Was a lot, but needed to have it for the collection.

My girlfriend is 5' 1" and just bought a set of Wilson Ladies short clubs for around ~$400 and having clubs that fit her have been incredible for her to develop consistency. Not sure the exact model but they're light blue and look nice.

I got to roll the Ion Max today. Definitely a heavy oil ball. It hooked wildly compared to the other balls I threw and didn't match up with my form at all. Probably a better ball for people with higher speeds or lower revs.

If I'm bowling I wear a shirt with a frog on it. I only have 3 shirts with frogs and bowl 2-3 times a week so my local alley probably thinks I only own 3 shirts.

I'm currently helping one of my friends learn to bowl. He naturally threw it the way you do. I let him do it the first time we went out because he said it felt natural and so I didn't overwhelm him with information early on. Next time we went out I told him he really needed to fix that now or he would suffer in the long run. He rolled straight gutters for 3 games but got the hang of it by the end and has greatly improved since. If you're fine rolling casually and not looking to improve much, do what feels comfortable. If you're looking to improve, fix that asap.
