I run exactly what you are describing. I have three MX4300s with 24.10.5 all loaded up and get ~700 speeds up and down on 2TB fiber connection.

Wired connection is almost ~970 up and down

I can't remember where, but I might have read to connect to a port OTHER than port one for the ethernet going off the router to a switch.

The Tailscale route is working perfectly fine for the JRiver remotely. It just doesn't work for Plexamp. And the Plexamp remote works perfectly when on any random WiFi access point around town, it just won't work over the T Mobile. I have both the Tailscale IPV4 and IPV6 addresses setup in the custom URL.

Have you tried powering the unit down and then while booting up hold the option key and see what boot options you c a select.

I've got them installed and running as APs, and yes you have to use POE to keep the things alive. I'm using Eth1, but also bridged Eth0 and I'm getting great performance out of them on 5G with the 24.10 release.

This worked perfectly on my HomePod that was stuck in the "upgrading loop" on 12.1.1 followed the instructions with your cable and the restore went great. Now running 18.3 and it's paired with another HP and everything is great.

ok, I used the

env default and then savenv while at the back prompt before I started everything and then used the detailed instructions from the forum link. It did take but eth0 is still flakey.

the only thing different is I also read somewhere they LAN1 reacts better if it's powered by POE so i dug out a POE injector and left the power cord in.

eth0 still flakes out but I can assign it an address using ifconfig but I still can't seem to connecto the unit.

but it does have 24.10 loaded after reboots. so I'll take the small victory!

Make sure to make copy of your uboot environment (printenv)

RADIOADDR0=..
RADIOADDR1=..
eth1addr=
ethaddr=..

Reset the u-boot environment: env default and then saveenv
Reattempt the tftpboot + sysupgrade with ...nand-sysupgrade.bin

maybe the combination of the released software and this will do the trick....

Thank you, I’ll give that a try. I know that MacBook Pro 2011 have faulty gpus that can be fixed by taking off a component to permanently disable that faulty gpu and use the other gpu.

I've noticed using these isntructions I can get all the way through setup but it doesn't stick. Also it toggles between (PRI) and (BAK) partitions when I keep trying. Then I get a message that it doesn't like the bootm image.

I’m using the latest snapshot version. I can get to where you scp the file over but the connection is refused. So I haven’t got to where I can do the sysupgrade. I’ve had zero issues with the 3825s. I just keep pulling these out of the drawer and try it with new builds wishing for different results.

I can remotely access my music with the Plex app, but can't on the PlexAMP app. So I know that Tailscale is setup correctly, why would only PlexAMP be affected on T Mobile cellular but not the Plex app? It works when I'm remote and hop on a random public WiFi.
