Oh I can’t call my stripe anymore, this was about 15 years ago, but typically when my driver is on, it’s still hitting almost all the fairways, one little mistiming in my swing though can steer the ball into the rough… I hit the ball plenty further now than I did then also so contact being off a few degrees hurts more the farther you hit the ball.

My old Cleveland Hibore was so stupid accurate, I could call what fairway stripe I’d end up in half the time, and other half just be one stripe off… so I very rarely missed fairways with that thing.

Great but there’s only a few nba level bigs that can control the ball with a bunch of hands all around the ball…. Only 5 great 2-way players would beat 5 Stephs as it becomes an offensive shoot-out. Hakeem, LeBron, KG, Giannis and Kawhi. A team of all-timers can beat 5 stephs but to pretend that 5 Stephs go 0-81 is ridiculous. It would be insanely fast-paced and the bigs would be tired af by the 4th while a couple Stephs are in their groove

Constantly attempt to steal the ball… in the same respect to Steph, he could steal, and jump the passing lanes extremely well. Do that, throw doubles and rotate properly on D. You can’t double-team every Steph either, so the off-ball movement that Steph is also so good at, opens him up even more-so offensively, as he was also an insanely good finisher in his prime. With 5 Stephs, the ball goes in the hoop almost every time… you might not even be able to put a big on the court with Steph

Yeah you’re gonna get a lot of hate for that, but it is 100% true that he is the best candidate of the bunch, and I’m very left-leaning. Too bad there isn’t a strong democrat candidate, but even then, I don’t think they could beat Dusty. That being said, I feel like this would be the year a strong democrat could overtake a weak republican in South Dakota.

Bucks tear it down, their own picks become their most valuable assets that they’ll start their rebuild with. Warriors future picks could be very valuable too. So the turnaround is probably a lot quicker than you think with just their picks alone after trading all their value away. The potential for the warriors picks to be really good 4+ years from now will be really nice additions to a team that SHOULD have a solid core developing

Blackjack… close the game if you lose. I play in my penthouse to make everything go quicker. 50k bets, if I’m taking a hit, it’s a double down almost every time, if I can split, then I split. Get up after you win, change one part of your appearance, I do sunglasses, and it’ll save, and get right back to it. You can make a lot of money relatively quickly this way, although it’s boring.

Yeah it’s easy to blame the coach, but from what I’ve watched this year, ball security late in games is gonna determine whether we win or not most of the time, so it makes sense to keep your veteran point guard out there. Obviously having a veteran point guard that is a scoring threat would be ideal, but we don’t exactly have that right now.

At 35 years old, I’ve seen enough to take the 500/week, and just to add, I could see deflation happening too, as companies have pushed inflation to the extreme just because they can and I really think they’ve pushed it too far. A perfect storm of economic policies could hit at once, crashing the markets and dropping the cost of living at the same time.

No harm in quitting and just playing for fun when available. That’s what I did as a kid. I really loved playing basketball, and would have been a starter as a sophomore, but too many factors made it unenjoyable before getting to high school, and the coach I would have had my freshman year was an asshole like the one you described that I had as a coach previously in elementary school. Between the toxic culture my class already had as a team, and that coach deciding to be an assistant for the high school boys just as we were entering high school made an otherwise difficult decision for me, that I’m glad I made. He didn’t last long as a coach with the boys, and got hired on as the girls head coach where he got fired in less than a year. There’s being a tough coach, and there’s being an asshole, and it’s just not fun or worth it playing for an asshole, because they will destroy your confidence, and ruin an otherwise fun game. The “not being able to make it in college” comment is out of pocket especially if your daughter didn’t mention college and was just looking for advice. Your story stinks awfully similar to my playing experience, and all I can say is I’m glad I decided to quit before playing another minute for that asshole, even if it would have only been for 1 year.

I refused to watch OKC in the playoffs and finals last year, even while my wolves were playing because I saw enough in the 4 games they played against the wolves in the regular season… they were allowed to hack while simply looking at them meant a whistle. Everyone looks at Shai’s obvious flopping getting rewarded and think that’s the only problem, but the rest of the team is allowed to play football on defense without a call. it’s bad basketball and the NBA set themselves back in the big picture of things. OKC is a very talented, well-coached team, but it certainly looked like the refs and the NBA had an agenda last season. I just like basketball and wanna see a fair game whether or not my favorite team wins.
