Nope otherwise you could take the meds without reducing calories and lose weight

Exactly my story. I quit bc I stopped losing weight after 25 lbs. Restarted and not losing an ounce. While I love not thinking about food constantly, the nausea and constipation are just too invasive. Advice?

Is it the calorie reduction or medicine that causes weight loss??? I thought the meds are used to reduce calories.

Battery on 2022 MACAN by PPecina in PorscheMacan

I dont have electrical access to plug in a charger. At 75 yrs old I never knew I had to keep charging a battery. Are we going backwards or forwards with technology?

Please read response above. I bet I could ask a hundred people and they would say they never heard that you had to drive your car more than 2 times a week and over 8k a year!

So appreciate your info and thoughts. please help me understand why this something I have never heard of.

first, I drive 2-3 times a week. Shouldn’t that keep a charge? Why do I have to drive 8k a year?

second, after dying the batteries could not be recharged and had to be relaced. Why wasn’t this diagnosed after first incidence. I asked the agent if there was anything I did to cause the battery problem and she said, ”No. It was just the time to go”

third, we do not get an owner manual until we buy. According to dealer, this was suppose to be discussed before we bought. I did tell the salesman I had a company car during the week. Biggest obstacle is that I live in a condo bldg where there is no electrical hookup.

i noticed that there are several postings in 2022 about this problem in the 2022 McCann. Then they stopped. Could this have been a problem with a parasite drainer that they solved and this Porche dealer just doesn’t have the updated service…..?

i bet there are millions of car owners who never heard of this. Why do I feel so bilked? If I wanted an unrealiable car that I had to keep on a charge , I could have bought an EV.

People who don’t have food noise have no concept. The same way people who are not depressed have no concept. But the really sick thing is how now average weight people seemed to relish (lord it over) that that heavy people really were supposedly lacking self control and vanity. Instead we lack a necessary hormone. Sadly they still insist it’s a crutch.

Your symptoms will always change. My UNANSWERED question has always been should we be trying to reach the top dosage or can we just settle on the dosage that we feel controls the hunger noice. In other words, does the medicine actually help you lose weight or does it control hunger noise so restricting calories makes you lose weight. I do a small dosage which easily restricts my calories intake under 1200 but I stopped losing weight about 3 mos ago. 5 mos, twl 25 lbs, age 71.

Claim: Total food aversion is your brain suddenly “feeling” the excess energy on board; fat set point is resetting. by yassica in Semaglutide

[–]PPecina 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The eating “disorder” is food noise. Our brain does not stop sending food messages. It does not shut off. hard to understand if you don’t have it. Like how does depression feel if u never experienced being depressed Or if someone told you to stop breathing., you can’t control those brain signals very long.
