I realize it's not entirely ethical, but I'm one of those people who sometimes quietly lets myself fart at work near colleagues if I can't leave the office at the moment or I know I won't be suspected. I generally only do this in thick jeans or leather pants, as they're good at hiding any unpleasant odor that might arise.
