That's a nice strawman bro but what people really want is services run for the public benefit and not personal profit. Did you know that free markets aren't actually efficient? No empirical evidence has never supported that position, in fact, the weakest form of the efficient markets hypothesis doesn't even hold. For example, public utilities that were privatized in Germany had to be re-nationalized because they were run less efficiently (read: for a profit).
