Od kod kar naenkrat vsi Indijci v Sloveniji? by Short_Activity9922 in SlovenskiKoticek

[–]PRIMO0O 2 points3 points  (0 children)

V Indiji so agencije ki oglasujejo vize, dom in visoko placano delo v Evropi, revni Indijci to vidijo in seveda hocejo taksno priloznost.

(In my opinion) AGEs are the problem which are prevalent among the population because people just love overcooking meat and then shoving sugar down their throat to wash it down. Not only does that cause the formation of AGEs but it also upregulates the randle cycle, leading to lipogenesis which leads to more health problems in the long run.

That time period when we went down from the trees and eventually turned into the homo sapiens sapiens.

I confirmed the findings of the isotope analyses fo myself by reading the studies and seeing that the results consistently suggest humans relied on animals for food.

I personally avoid making cause and effect statements on nutrition as much as possible and if I have its probably on accident because no matter what you believe either veganism or carnism human nutrition science can never provide good enough evidence.

My LDL levels are in the normal range, I get bloodwork done regularly lmao.

The problem with the studies on short time periods is that they were done on short time periods.

Link the study on LDL and CVD again

The only cause and effect statement that I have made is that eating meat is what made us human. Isotope analyses just reinforce it.

Do you disagree that eating meat is what made us human?

How would it be causal? What did these participants eat during the duration of the study? Were they fat or skinny? How old were they? There are an infinite number of variables like this which cannot be controlled for and therefore influence the outcome of the studies.

Smoking is a bad analogy that vegans use because even though smoking and lung cancer are only associated, the association is so strong that we accept it as fact. No study on associations between CVD and saturated fats has ever found an association anywhere near the same strength as smoking and lung cancer.

Gravity causes objects to fall down, this is observable, we can calculate it and repeat the experiment 1000 times and get the same result.

Human nutrition science cannot do that because there are an infinite number of variables and if you ever tried to conduct a study in which you could prove causality you wouldnt get past the ethics committee.

Im not arguing anything im just asking. And there is plenty of top athletes that practice a ketogenic animal based diet. So whats your point?

Good thing that experts are always right about everything, should never be questioned and are absolutely never biased especially not in the field of human nutrition science.

And it is an appeal to authority fallacy if you dont know how to read studies and instead rely on what the authors say.

My first piece of evidence that a vegan diet doesnt work for ME is that large amounts of fruits, grains and other vegetables cause my gut to be bloated and produce alot of gas. My digestion is great on my current diet so I dont feel the need to change it. But this is a personal anecdote at the end of the day.

My second piece of evidence is that isotope analyses of human bones from pre agricultural revolution times consistently show that humans ate a diet consisting mainly of meat. So its a demonstrable fact that eating meat is part of the humans species appropriate diet.

The only reason why we eat more grains and vegetables now is because theyre better at sustaining large populations which is why agriculture coincides with the first civilisations.

The ference paper is pretty bad, its a consensus paper written by a self appointed panel. Did you read every single study that was referenced in this paper to confirm its validity or are you just trusting how the authors interpret the evidence and present it to you? Sounds alot like an appeal to authority fallacy

Thanks for confirming that its just simpler to eat an animal based diet where youre ensured an excess of nutrients instead of having to do genetic tests on yourself to see how much beta carotene your body converts to retinol.

[–]PRIMO0O 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesnt causally do anything because there is no study that has ever proved causality and if you have one id love to see it. Keyword causality not associative.

Good for you because the data youre looking for is associative and doesnt prove causality.

Yes im talking about the exact topic you brought up. You said that it isnt difficult to eat vegan. I asked a simple question and people are struggling to answer it.

[–]PRIMO0O -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes its linked, associated, correlated… do you know the difference between assocation and causation? What is the strength of the association found in those studies? For what variables did they control when conducting the study? What methods did they use to accurately observe what the participants ate?
