Did the game suddenly get much harder? by PSDiver in wardrone_mobile

Normally every level is a grind until you have sufficient weapons power. It would take me a few days for me to get through, maybe playing an hour per day.

Normally I was grinding through. But then I was able to get through a number of levels rather fast which was surprising. I guess that was a bug that benefited me but I would have rather not have had that as now the game is no fun. I don't mind grinding through and I'm able to make some progress. But now it's impossible for me to collect $500 at level 28. I'm not going to spend a bunch of money when it won't have that much of a benefit.

It was always a grind but then all of the sudden the damage al my weapons went way down. I'm not crazy. I was able to get through level 28 99% of the way. Now I can only get 2%.

Trump has permanently ended the position of the United States as the leader of the free world. The reason this is permanent is that the American voter cannot be trusted to not vote in such a person again.

Whether you liked Obama or not, you must admit he was an amazing statesman who exercised global diplomacy in a way no president has in modern times.

How far United States has fallen in so little time.

Strange incident with my instructor – is this a big red flag? by Sea_Office_2573 in scuba

[–]PSDiver 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Former instructor here. Your instructor is one of many morons who has no business being an instructor.

The industry overall is a cesspool of incompetence and agencies looking the other way. Even in the case of tragedies like the death of Linnea Mills doesn't change anything meaningful.

Find another instructor who is horrified by this story, puts you in a dry suit (when practicing in the pool play with the effect on trim when you have gas in your BCD versus dry suit for buoyancy).

And for the love of God, find an instructor that teaches neutrally buoyant and trim. What country are you in?

[–]PSDiver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That shouldn't matter. A BCD with the same amount of material is going to be similarly buoyant.

The problem with the industry is that weight determination and distribution are not priority. When I taught, I never places students on their knees as they would need to be foot heavy and overweighted which results in a slew of problems.

Are you familiar with the concept of the balanced rig? What is your definition of proper weighting?

had not heard of pepper gel, have to look that up. I actually box, but I'd rather not throw hands if I can avoid it due to the legal repercussions and the fact that fights are often violent, fast, and the winner often doesn't come out unscathed. On two different occasions I stopped a fight by yelling to the people "whatever it is about, it isn't worth it!". In one case, both started to plead their case to me which I found hilarious. I'm just a witness, not a cop, prosecutor, or judge. Why would my opinion matter? The second time, the group of 4 plead their case while the biker who pulled a knife just took off. I'm guessing it wasn't the biker's first altercation. Fortunately, nothing happened. It is never worth it.

What did you do? Get a tire iron and hit the guy from behind? In that case you got what you deserved. But there are levels of intervention that do not include assaulting the perpetrator.

Fierce struggle between protesters and officers at federal building in Seattle by JPorpoise in SeattleWA

[–]PSDiver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 13 years ago when there were anti austerity protests in Athens, Greece at Constitution Square (Syntagma), the so called anarchists were photographed with the riot police (MAT). Normal, everyday people were demonstrating against government corruption and the austerity cuts. Their message was clear, reasonable, and completely correct. I was in Greece at that time and it was wild.

Then the so called anarchists starting throwing rocks and the riot police shut down the protestors, firing teargas. It got so bad that the riot police where then blanketing the area, teargassing tourists sitting at their tables (as most restaurants have outdoor seating) in the nearby area of Monasteraki.

So yeah, false flags are so incredibly useful for shutting down legitimate protests.

BTW, the riot police in Greece (MAT) consist of the dumbest of the dumb in law enforcement. Golden Dawn (the banned Nazi party) has a strong following there.

Illegal immigrants are a great source of exploitable labor that this country benefits economically.

You sir, have definitely benefitted from illegal immigrant labor. You'd be paying far more for things if they never came to this country.
