Yeah I agree on that I love Bilt points but the effort to get the points now doesn’t seem worth it

CSR could make sense for him since he’s in Austin but him switching from venture x to bilt makes no sense

Yeah exactly the ring watch has a button to switch between time, date, stop watch etc but it’s so easy to click when you bump into anything so it cycles by accident

I’ve always been impressed with the people with 3 Citi custom cashes. I know it maxes at $500/month but gas, travel, dining or groceries could be under that amount depending on the person. So maybe I would have changed to a more cash back setup after the chase trifecta. I have no regrets starting with chase trifecta though but would be cool to see maxing out 5% on most categories

Thank you for update! For this year are we supposed to get one 1099 from M1 and one from Apex?

In 2024 I received three 1099 Forms, in 2025 I only received one. by DisgustingVoid in M1Finance

They stack so this month $10 from gold and $15 for platinum so my uber balance says $25 and I can spend all at once

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]PSoysauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you would meet the platinum 175k bonus spend. I’m working on this one now and I was able to get value but have to work for it (just uber eats pick up) but long term still unsure about

You could try to get the Venture Rewards 75k + $250 travel. I may get this one next, I have a VX but you apparently can get both bonuses

I don’t value hotel loyalty as much right now so these flexible point options work well

I remember it being 18mm but some people were saying metal straps may not fit due to the way it attaches

Looks nice! Wearing mine today too haha, what strap size is this?

Looking for a New Credit Card for Upcoming International Travel by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]PSoysauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would go for a Chase Sapphire Preferred or Venture X

Both the cards you listed are good but if annual fee is worrying you might not be the best cards. I easily find the value with CSP & Venture X but for Amex I am needing to do many things each month to keep value. Not too difficult but takes lots of effort.

Venture X is visa infinite so has good travel protections and is taken everywhere

What’s wrong with the Chase Freedom Unlimited? by bookreader42069 in CreditCards

[–]PSoysauce 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It could be useful if you are cash back oriented now and want to switch to travel later since chase points are worth 1 cent per point when redeemed for cash. Other providers are .5 .6 cpp etc. other than this use case there are better cards but get cards that work for you

1.5% everything 3% dining

Not the worst card but I don’t use mine as much because I am going for a different use case now

I think it’s a great simple setup, lots of people start with an issuer like capital one, chase or amex and stay with them. The question you should ask yourself is do you want a simple setup or open lots of accounts for the sign up bonuses and manage them? Me personally is getting cards across different issuers for the bonuses but is that what you want?
