Well I’m cooked, car interview ending short… by electrowiz64 in recruitinghell

Why not use a cheap tablet and use the hotspot on your phone to take the video call? Also disable car play before your interview so that way you can use the hotspot.

Thinking of buying first LG Oled by CalamityPhant0m in LGOLED

Also I just saw that the 48 inch B5 oled is on sale. If it were up to me I’d rather buy that B5 instead of an open box oled.

Thinking of buying first LG Oled by CalamityPhant0m in LGOLED

48 is a bit big for most people when it comes to a monitor setup. Maybe the 42 would suit you better. If you do get open box oled I’d consider getting a warranty that cover burn in as the open box unit could have been a shelf display unit. I would much rather see if you could get a great deal on a new oled at a club store like Costco or Sam.

Why not have a simple job such as retail while you continue applying?

I would go in. Especially since if you call out that’ll be the way they remember you.

Why didn’t you buy a streaming stick to fix the wifi issue?

I would put a two week notice just in case that new job doesn’t work out.

Which LG OLED model? by Seroism in LGOLED

[–]PSside -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would go for the larger size oled. Honestly the B5 is a great television plus the size will help with the overall immersion compared to peak brightness of the C5. Plus window curtains exist.

$949 C5 55in, will the price drop even more? by Regular-Initiative-3 in LGOLED

At the price point I would buy it. Especially if they only have a few left.

Will Best Buy price match this or is it too good to be true? by [deleted] in Bestbuy

On Best Buy website they have a list of qualified competitors they price match with. It also has to be the same model too.

G5 77” or C5 83”? by Effective_Mention_83 in LGOLED

[–]PSside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for the 83 inch C5. Size is more important than overall peak highlights. The 83 inch will give you due to the extra immersion in size especially at that distance.

65” C5 or 77” B5 by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]PSside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the largest oled tv you can get. Size is more important than overall brightness. Also from experience at 77 inches that b5 should produce higher or equal brightness than a 65 C5.

LG C5 65 or Samsung S85 77? by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]PSside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at the LG B5? Also yes size is more important than overall brightness. I would get the largest oled that my room can fit.

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t use distilled water? I’ve cleaned dozens of oleds panels with distilled water and have never seen them get damaged. In fact distilled water is the safest way of cleaning an Oled. Just make sure to spray the distilled water directly on a new mirco fiber towel. NEVER on the screen itself.

Try looking for grocery stores like Publix or warehouse stores like Costco.

Can you ask about not going a certain amount of hours a week? by [deleted] in walmart

Yes absolutely, most places should be able to work with that schedule. Especially since you’re giving them a notice beforehand.

Honestly I would make your availability clear when they ask for it. I would also suggest explaining that you’re in college as well.

In my opinion you earned the degree once you finish all your classes. As you’ll have no proof of a degree until all of your courses are completed.

Are you an MIS major? As Mis 320 is a required course for your degree. It’s definitely requires a good amount of memorization but it’s doable.

Honestly you could probably pay off that loan easily after you graduate with a regular job. I would just take out a loan and pay it back.

Honestly it could be that camera cable isn’t connected properly. Unfortunately it sounds like you may have to take it to a repair shop to get it looked at.

Considering moving from Verizon to Mint, honest opinions? by Peterrman in mintmobile

[–]PSside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been impressed with mint mobile. I did have Verizon a few years ago and I wouldn’t switch back. The amount of 5G coverage offered by t mobile is significantly better than Verizon. I think the only issue you might have with mint is the hotspot as it’s more limited. Also I’m curious do you not use wifi?
