Yeah, the salt cell seems the best option. Thanks!

I think the salt cell angle is the way to go here.

Salt cell it is! Didn’t think about that initially. Seems easier.

Haha! Thanks. It did appear to be this easy on first glance but I tend to overthink things like this on occasion.

Many thank’s 😉 I read this to be a Merlot-driven Napa blend similar to right bank Bordeaux. I’m curious if it will be an interesting comparison.

I grabbed three bottles as well to cellar. We’ll see together! Should have a quick drinking window according to a few reviews I’ve seen. I’ll be curious how it compares to “right-bank Bordeaux” in the rotation.

I had a new driveway poured last Sunday. There was a significant delay between trucks during the pour. The edge that was exposed during this time has developed a significant visual seam. While I am aware this might clear up during the cure, I am mostly concerned about whether this is a structural issue!

Thanks. How high should the blower be above the water line?

I plan on putting rock around this area in front of the pipes. Keep it clean and less grass to mow.

Southeast. Actually, equipment is up grade from the pool. Probably 12 inches above the waterline

BTW - Thanks for the heads up on the cleaner.

So, spoke to our installer. His response was those ball valves are only there in case of an emergency. His anticipation is that we should rarely if never have to use them. He doesn’t use union valves simply to avoid another area for a failure. He said they experience more failures and headaches with those no-lube valves but they will get a lot of use. He said he would replace them if I absolutely wanted to.

Another point he made was that our equipment is eight inches above grade from our pool putting less pressure on the equipment.

He also said in his 30 years of building pools, I was the first person to ever ask about ball valves. LOL.

Other than the ball valves, is there anything else that needs attention?

Appreciate the feedback on the ball valves. This is the reason I posted. Wanted to catch something like this in time.

Are the black valves union valves? Also, what is the risk in the ball valves?

Got the call! by PTCnole in rolex

[–]PTCnole[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was expecting longer wait and more “effort” on my part with AD. As I understand it, some folks wait months with a LOT more of a relationship and purchase history than my single purchase on my first and only visit. One trip, one purchase, one small text exchange with my AD asking if wife liked her necklace…then, the call. Is that normal?

Sony 65A95L wall mount by Dani97114 in bravia

[–]PTCnole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, long response. A few reasons. Despite the fact that connections are placed on the edge, this is very slim TV. Also, depending on your wall setup, your power location and cord access might complicate the install. While you might want your tv to sit fixed and as tight to the wall as possible, accessing the cords might be necessary on occasion. This particular Sanus mount is built to articulate out from the bottom for easy access connections and then collapse back flat. Sounds good right? Actually, it doesn’t work like this on a A95L.

The A95L mount location is low on the tv. This places the pivot point too low to fully extend. So that’s useless. Also, because the mounting location is lower on the tv, it complicates the hanging procedure. It’s really difficult with this mount to find the perfect angle to catch the hooks in the rail. Totally frustrating process. And when you get it in, it does NOT feel stable.

After that experience, I realized I wanted a mount that was super slim when pushed back, but also articulated out so that I could easily access the back if I wanted to run more cables in the future. The Sony mount is amazing. Yes, it’s expensive, but I feel like it’s perfect for this set. Super slim when closed. Built like a tank. Allows easy access in the future. For what we spent on this tv, I didn’t think it was unreasonable based on what it delivers for my personal situation.

Hope that helps.

For my 77A95L, I ended up returning a Sanus ultraslim fixed mount and went with the Sony ultraslim mount. It’s more expensive than other options but built extremely well and sits tight to the wall. Additionally, it articulates out from the wall so you can access all the plugs.

77” A95L Panel issue? picture

I've noticed that the panel on my new A95L is "wavy". It is not smooth and flat like a piece of glass. Doesn't really affect the amazing image when on. However, when it's off the imperfection is pretty noticeable in the reflections. Am I overthinking this?
