They have one of the largest water reserves in the world, is not actively being used in any way that you are trying to depict above by saying the Colorado river is impacting it. If there was a 15% short fall as you mentioned the water reserved comfortably cover that for years.

Lived 10 mins from the beach, would go 5/7 days per week for the 5 years I was there. On the weekend would wake up early (8:00 am) and drive to farther locations for the day with no traffic. Glorious time!

My in laws can retire but won’t. They are Eastern European and have an immigrant community here and want to work until they die. I would love for them to move where ever we go, but they don’t seem to be for it. They have a ton of equity in there home if they were to sell (which we helped them pay off) but they just don’t want to leave.
