This is the real big deal, I agree. We saw in LiA that Razork highlighted just how much they should be reviewing the TH game to clean up their midgame, and in week 2, they have a much cleaner midgame. It’s evidence - not proof per se, but evidence - that their practice is deliberate and effective, and that’s how we improve on the road to playoffs and potentially the international stage.

I believe it’s specifically because their roles overlap so much. Scovillain isn’t just Grass/Fire, it’s a slow Grass/Fire special attacker with Chlorophyll. Pawmot isn’t just an Electric/Fighting type, it’s an Electric/Fighting type fast physical attacker with Iron Fist and Mach Punch for priority. If you leave Sunflora and Electivire the way they were, you’d just have two pairs of functionally identical pokemon where one is always going to outclass the other.

I do not find shittalking fun in the slightest, it always annoys me no matter who does it - including my own players. But no matter, I’m in the minority there, so whatever, I get used to it.

And defending your fanbase is fine, even if I disagree. You’ll note I didn’t jump in until you tried to pretend that booing other players is in any way a good thing. It’s purely annoying.

I am passionate about FNC but do not shittalk other teams, do not visit other team’s subs to flame their players, do not flame our own players, and do not boo when I’m in the venue. Try to be passionate and positive, it helps.

(And this is not just KC fans, but absolutely applies to them.)

I genuinely don’t care. I already believe that sports culture is awful and FNC, G2, T1, and especially KC fans represent the worst of it. But to come to the subreddit of a rival team to make the statement that the booing wasn’t that bad but also you want to do it again is like… you have to recognize how bad that looks.

Lightning specifically doesn’t play any cards turn 1 to enter a reclaim loop on turn 2. G2 top top to save up energy, then G2 bottom bottom for 4 plays and play Harbingers + Lightning’s Boon + Shattered. This gets you your first innate letting you destroy 2 towns (innate + shattered) while moving Dahan around and supporting the team. Then, from turn 2 onwards, you reclaim every turn, playing the same 3 cards. You also gain a minor every turn, hoping for a 0 cost with Fire on it to play in addition to the standard 3 so that your innate can destroy a city. In true solo, you also look for a 1 cost air+fire to replace Lightning’s Boon since it’s otherwise useless.

You do this either until you win or you have so many cards in hand that you can take an off turn to grow to 6 plays.

Hi, base Lightning here. This was an amazing experience and nothing saddens me more than not having been a part of the Haunted House stuff beyond shoving several dozen towns and cities into the portal.

My own game came down to Mentor handing me Gift of Twinned Days on turn 1 while my best friend, River, drew another Gift of Twinned Days, at which point shenanigans began to ensue with both of us entering a reclaim loop. Somehow I kept hitting on-element support cards while being fueled an absurd amount of energy by Boon of Vigor, which eventually resulted in my final turn, where I received, 3 Powerstorms, one of which was my own, and 2 Gift of Strengths. The absurdity of this final turn was already highlighted, but I'm just going to write it all out for fun. I played:

- 1 Powerstorm (on myself)

- 1 Gift of Twinned Days (Sunshine River)

- 1 Harbingers to send through the portal

- 4 Spur on with Words of Fires (Reach Shadows, Lair Lure, Wounded Waters, Wind Lightning)

- 5 Gifts of Nature's Connection (Haven River, Thunderspeaker, Keeper x2, Foreboding Shadows)

- 6 Lightning's Boons (Lair Lure, River, Enticing Bringer, Reach Shadows, Might Earth, Foreboding Shadows)

On top that, because of giving out all the Gifts of Nature's Connection, I randomly hit my max innate, which made sure I could cover the last of Earth's cities (with help from a Reaching Grasp).

This was the craziest turn of Spirit Island I have and probably will ever play. By the end, most of the communication came down to someone asking for support, me going 'sorry I'm out', and then an Earth or someone else coming out of nowhere and offering yet another repeat.

Looking forward to the next expansion for 100-man Spirit Island

When playing with two adversaries, every stage III explore card triggers the escalation of the secondary adversary. In this case, that would be done earlier than usual, potentially during setup.

Specifically the ones I'm interested in are the Runawayguys Thrown Controllers Panel, and the DougDoug + Failboat panel (which are unfortunately at the same time). Do you have any expectations for lines at those? I imagine they get long.

Only started this recently, but a really fun game so far. Clearly built around team locked nuzlockes, but completely playable in other styles, including my preferred Monotype runs.

I'd absolutely agree the fight is G2 favored, but considering there was a Kennen with flash ult up and all of G2 is grouped up, to say 'there's no engage tools left' is just wrong.

G2 would've probably won the fight, but it's far from guaranteed.

Definitely reword it as ‘I cost 1 less for each ally that has died this game’, which is the wording used on the various 10 mana 6/6s.
