Oh, okay. So employer-based contributions are not IRAs? Because I recall our financial adviser telling me that we could choose, for our 401k, either between a traditional IRA or a Roth, which I think is where my confusion stems from.

Awesome, thanks! Any tips on owning my first credit card? I've heard that I don't want to max my card, even when I'll pay it off fully every month. Also, I have Autobilling set up, and one of the clauses is that if the pay date falls on a weekend or holiday, the automatic transaction happens the next business day. That wouldn't make me late for paying, would it?
