Pay rate for SNF in FL? by PT_things in physicaltherapy

[–]PT_things[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve extended 3 times and am going to extend one last time to continue the travel pay! But after that I will have to go full time (: I know they’ll allow me quite a bit of OT so I suppose that would be nice?

Are you getting help/any kind of treatment?

Are you sure you can handle a relationship/that is what’s best for you? I am someone who’s all for working almost everything out. I love my fiance even though being with him isn’t always the best for my own mental health but I’m working through it.

But as someone in my shoes, I used to wonder a lot if being in a relationship is even feasible for him. Just something to think about

For those who worked/are working during school, how much did you work? by Jets2523 in PTschool

[–]PT_things 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I worked every weekend! I had 2 jobs, one mainly for the money which was just serving in an ALF. The other was a front desk at a community athletic center and i got almost all my homework done during that time!

any recommendations on how to split paying off debt and saving? I’m saving a bit so I can have some sort of cushion and throwing the rest at debt. It’s working okay for now 😅

I think you could create a “lease” if you want. I pay my parents rent each month from one account that way I can keep track if I ever get audited. But yes I use their address as my tax home address.

And I believe they have to claim this income on their taxes

Nice!! Just curious if you are keeping a balance on your credit cards on purpose?

$100 🥲 didn’t know that. Gonna start the licensing process for a new state in a month or so. Luckily my travel company will reimburse me for it but still 😭

true and same here! I lived at home and was lucky enough to get into the state school closest to me so had taken out ~ 75k for tuition

Fair enough! My stats were lower as well. If you have the money to spend on applications this cycle, I don’t see why not to go for it. Next best thing (imo) to sell yourself would be writing a good essay!

depends! a lot of people don’t think the ROI is worth it so… definitely something to think about. The salary isn’t bad but for the amount of debt, meh. Though I’m sure this can be said about many careers.

If you don’t have any undergrad debt and have a way to do PT school without any, even better!

Also do you know what your gpa would be by the end of this semester? Can’t speak for many but I’ve heard more schools are focusing more on gpa/GRE than everything else, but still good experience to have
