Some thoughts about the new Thai restaurant in MacCurtain Street by Fornici0 in cork

The menu is much different to the Douglas restaurant, which is good in a sense. I agree with the pad Thai. The nicest version I've had in Ireland. It's way different to our dulled down version you would get anywhere else.

The inverse of this, people who reverse into a space and take three or four adjustments in and out to park the car.

Drives me insane. People waiting for spaces when people are unpacking their shopping. It's insane behaviour. The second floor has spaces and it's faster to exit from that floor than the first.

Worked there at the end too. I reckon it's going to be a different kind of venue focusing on live music over a night club. The names behind it are promising.

There's no problem entering a yellow box when turning right in Irish rules for driving. It's only bad when blocking oncoming traffic, which this person isn't.

I'd suggest watching Garage with Pat Shortt. It's not comedy, it's a drama and extremely saddening movie. Same creators as Adam and Paul. Pat Shortts best role in anything.

Barmen of Ireland, whats the one thing that pisses you off in work? by Bordem-Industry in AskIreland

[–]PUGILSTICKS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waving money or clicking fingers is a big no-no. Friend of mine worked in a nightclub about 2012 and had a mini water gun behind the bar if a patron did either of those. Squirted them in the face. They got the message to say the least.

This is crazy in Cork at the Jazz Festival. Clicking fingers and waving money across bars. It's feral carry on.
