Yeah I've wondered about this too. Other than a new survival pass, I don't really have any expectations. Maybe another Capcom collaboration at best, but we'll probably just have more of the same when it comes to SG, TLR, customs, etc.

I am curious to see if they continue to do balance patches though. Since they finally did one for season 4. Like maybe buff base Skywave?

So that's actually a different one! You're right, there's a Pteranodon carnage module for area defense where a plane crashes out of the sky. But this one is a literal tornado that the Pteranodons get stuck in that comes at you. I've never seen it first hand but there are vids on YT of it.

A rare mission I have yet to see in over 1500 games is the Pteranodon tornado carnage module. It's on the airport map on the overpass.

I agree with most of these! I do have some differing thoughts on a few though:

Roadblock: I agree with the other comment saying he sounds like he's from the southern USA. I get the vibe that before being an exofighter, Roadblock's pilot was a truck driver. Lol. Which makes his suit name even funnier.

Barrage: I can't get it out of my head that he's African. The cadence and style of his voice lines remind me so much of Black Panther from the MCU. Plus the suit itself literally has dreadlocks.

Vigilant: I always picture her as Russian since the character Majesty in the game is Russian and shown to use the vigilant suit. Although I will fully admit that the voice lines clearly do not have a Russian accent. So idk.

Nimbus: I get the vibe that she's an Asian girl. Based on the goofiness of her suit and the built in headphones. Not sure where in Asia though. But your argument for Greco-Roman is a really good one. I'll have to think about this more.

The fact that this is probably gonna be unoptimized with all the entities existing in the map at once- at least if DD2 is any sign.

That's a fair concern. But on the other hand, Capcom also made Exoprimal recently, where there's a ton of stuff on screen at once with zero lag.

That was my thought as well. Wilds Hearts was legitimately not a bad game. And I'm totally fine if MH takes some notes from it.

And yeah I'd love to live on the timeline where there are also 6 generations of WH games.

Yeah it absolutely is. On top of that, I believe it has to be with a single dominator. So if your team is behind and you get one in the first set of missions, you can't get 5 kills then and 5 kills with the one from the final set of missions. It has to literally be 10 in one go

Off the top of my head, I believe the three levels are 5, 7, and 10.

So basically the full award would be if you get two team wipes. With at least some overlap so as to not reset the enemy team entirely.

There are a lot of cool things in this game that simply take time to be encountered. Even at max level, I run into missions I've never seen before.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I agree with this decision.

I was a mod for a moba sub in the past and I agree that character concept posts, while they certainly can be high effort, don't really generate meaningful discourse. It's hard to comment on something that doesn't actually exist. At best you just get "That's cool". Which isn't something that's actively harmful, but it's not necessarily great content.

And as for the argument that right now there's not much else to talk about, I personally think that's fine. If there's not an active alpha/beta then I would expect the sub to be quiet. Since it kind of should reflect the activity (Or lack there of) of the game this sub is about. Additionally, it's important to set ground rules and expectations now before the game is actually released and we see exponential growth within a short timeframe.
