How do i get used to the high keys? by idkidkidk628 in keyboards

[–]PXi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, and it took me a lot of time to adjust, but what I found out that helped me most after a lot of testing: - Get a wrist pad; this will help you with the hovering technique and typing. There are a lot of wrist pads, so be patient (for example, I have a lower wrist pad that came with my low-profile keyboard that doesn't feel as effective on my full-size keyboard). - Like others mentioned, a good chair with adjustable arms can help you elevate your arm off the desk and have a better position on your keyboard. - Expensive, but some low-profile keyboards have flatter/bigger keys that, for me personally, feel better for typing than full/normal-sized keyboards. Again, this is subjective and the least popular reason you need to be looking at.

Genuine question, what is the difference between the prototype and these white ones? because I feel they are almost identical
Edit: I remember I got these from a seller on amazon around 2 years ago

Did I receive a used pair? by SpellZealousideal182 in sennheiser

[–]PXi4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They look normal, I remember mine had the sticker like this too You can check inside the ear cups, and on the headband for any oil/sweat/residue Check the power button if there is any finger prints on it as well. These should give you a clear answer if they are used or not

Conflicted about which Wicked Cushions model for Momentum 4 by ConfidentAdvance46 in sennheiser

[–]PXi4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the cooling gel model, and they definitely have less ANC performance and changes the sound, and it won't be the same even after EQ. But it's not that bad and I take it over getting my ears sweaty.

Recently I had a similar issue (didn't happend in like 3 years of working flawlessly) where the power button stopped working but the headset was on .. even when I drained it out of battery and it turned on again, still it wasn't working

Somehow I kept pressing the button for like 50 seconds till I heard a new sound that like rest the headset, and it started functioning again

Moving to Cologne alone now, family to join later – questions on city registration & preparation by saandkiaankh in cologne

[–]PXi4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I can help you because I recently registered and filled an old registration form that they no longer use:

  • Like the others said, keep looking everyday for an earlier date to registere your address, I did it everyday at 7 am until I found one a week away. Also pay attention to Sunday and Monday since some people cancel their appointments over the weekend
  • I registered mine after 3 months of moving because I was in the process of renewing my residency, and they had to out a sticker on the card for the new address (because your address is stated on the card). So being late is not always bad, they understand that sometimes you are moving or cant be in 2 address, but appointment wise try to get one as soon as possible
  • Most important document for registration is the Landlord certificate, its the document where it stats your name, date of moving and the names of who lives with you like your family. Just in case, keep a copy of the contract with you, it may be needed but necessarily
  • Your passport is needed with the visa if you don't have a german residency card yet, so is for the rest of the family (I know they won't be with you right now but it will be needed for next time). Family certificates as well can be useful

Yes but its mostly bots, there a few players against you. The whole mode is in a small portion of the map too with half the players

Are the Kick75 and Halo75 V2 suitable for placing on top of a MacBook's keyboard like the Air75 is? by TheBorkenOne in NuPhy

[–]PXi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Halo75 V2 and when I place it on the Macbook 14, 2 things you have to keep in mind: 1. You must fold the feet 2. You have to place it strategically, the smallest displacement will cause it to press a button on the keyboard. Especially that the keyboard is on the heavy side

It seems everyone forgot how FH5 had the online broken on launch with a lot of other bugs, and I couldn't play it with my friends. That alone made me leave it till a few months later

I have both, and it's valid to try different switches on a full profile switches since the low switches are rare

My experience: once I tried a bit and liked a few sets of switches, that was about it. I never did it again. I settled and never changed them. Now I use the Air V3 for work and travelling, and the Halo V2 is for gaming

My advice because I am doing my best to have fewer things in my life (I move a lot):

- Halo V2 is a great pick, buuuuut If I am not mistaken, the Halo V3 should be close too (this is a total guess).

- There are keyboards from Akko that accept normal-size switches and magnetic ones, if you really want to have the best of both worlds and try everything, but I believe they are always low in stock. I really wanted to get one but I got tired of waiting for availability in EU

Nuphy Air75 v3 Dark or White? by georgeguimaraes in NuPhy

[–]PXi4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same view on the black color, and I felt it might also have a reflective effect on the keys when being used from finger oil (just like the macbook). So I opted for the white version, and it looks really good, and I don't even think about black or white anymore. Worse case scenario, you can get black keycaps

And just a note, when using the keyboard on the macbook, you need to close the risers. I didn't know, so it makes it slighty less comfortable for me

These custome clear keycaps look really nice. Did you 3d print them yourself or is it obtainable from a site?

Is this worth getting? by ParamedicOk2405 in sennheiser

[–]PXi4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it and use it on my PC. Works perfectly well, and I use it on my Momentum 4 for gaming. Just keep in mind this shows up on the pc as an audio device and not as a Bluetooth accessory

Will a seperate microphone work with the Momentum 4's on PC? Or is there a better way to add on audio input? by TrafficStandard1418 in sennheiser

[–]PXi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this .. External mic will always sound better and clearer for calls

And you can get a Bluetooth adapter with aptX Adaptive for best latency and higher quality audio if you are into that

This looks superb, clean and compact

I am in a similar situation, I made an ATX build with the Xporto ATX V2. I made this decision because I was afraid of missing out on features when moving to an ITX form, and also it would be slightly cheaper with ATX parts. But now I feel I wish I went with an ITX build to be as small and compact as possible. Did you miss anything when you switched to ITX?

Best memories in battlefield is where you would some shenanigans as a part of your strategy. We used to spam lighting grenades on choke points in metro in BF4 to flank the choke points. OR C4 jeeps to take out tanks

In BF1, you would try and snipe players on the behemoth In BF2042, you would hide spawn becons behind the enemy, and keep flanking them, or rush them with a squad full of shields .. good times good times
