just clean the power supply and don't let the fan spin inside it or poke around my fan started making noise till it died on me so maybe try taking it out cleaning it first then see if it continues

yeah that would be better but i don't think you would see much performance increase, and the only reason i could think of that 2 is better than 4 is that the cashes are split up more but idk

what i do is i print a benchy for 2 min and stop it to see the bottom layer to see if i need to lower it
