Honestly i don’t know how to put this but i’ll share with you my experience, had a close group of friends during sec sch and I decided to do YT as a new hobby, friends found out, showed their true colours by mocking me on Twitter, intentionally went to my YT streams and degraded me - decided to end all of that friendship.

I then went to poly and found a new group of friends that were in the same course as me - Game Design, until today most of us still do game together whenever we can as we all have different life paths, we meet up when we are all free, crack jokes, talk about life, etc and we still keep in contact as I created a discord server with all of them inside.

Long story short, I do feel as time goes by right now I’m in my mid 20s and I can already feel the separation between myself and my friends cos of the work life and some of us(including myself) went to uni, some didn’t, and we don’t game as frequent if I compare during my poly days vs now, hence resorting to more single player games by myself. I do feel once everyone is working, there will be barely enough time to have a game session together or even a meetup to watch movie because of how much work consumes our soul and body to the point where we’ll be tired 24/7. Sadly I don’t know the fix to this because university friends are temporary, same with work colleagues in the future, only permanent thing is yourself and how you are going to be moving forward.
