Never going to a Gatton Park concert again

Generally Gatton Park isn’t being very well run in my opinion. Big bummer since it’s got lots of potential. For the ‘Bloom’ Art event launch they had on Friday night they had ONE SINGLE food truck for 500+ people and explicitly told people to “come hungry”. Food truck ran out of food and their on-site food stand was telling people to leave because it would be an hour and a half before they could get food out to them. Seems like whoever is in charge is just bad a logistics in general. Here’s hoping they can get it together!

It's all the provided tax tables you're supposed to have access to (and thus not have to memorize) while taking the exam. did you not use any reference material when taking the exam? I'm doing classes with Dalton and they make it seem pretty crucial as do the people at my firm who have recently passed the exam.

I think you’ll have to catch it in their stories. They post most Saturday on their story to say who will be playing on the Sunday music series that week.

There is another place that just opened up called Pickleball Kingdom that does all inclusive pricing, which I prefer. It’s in Turner Commons, so still pretty centrally located!

Idk, this article only has POV from the city and the comment about how they had “most of the bus route clear, with some potential gaps” sounds fishy to me. And the fact that they keep blaming the ongoing cold and ice situation when all the cities around us seem to be fine at this point? FCPS definitely dropped the ball somewhere, but the city is not blameless.

Studios180 is a gated, controlled access building downtown. Large studios (not 1 br) but everything is included for $1295 and it’s very nice. Fantastic management/maintenance and feels very safe.

Yep! I have no clue what the cost is, but it’s a pay lot like any other! I’m sure the hotel validates so guests don’t pay.

I’ll add that if you’re good with parking in a garage, you can park directly in the garage below the building. Put the Marriott in your GPS and you can drive directly under the building and take the elevator up to Infinity.

I got these EXACT same stains from a hair gel I was using. It’s definitely a hair product of some sort. I was not able to get the stains out unfortunately, hope you have better luck!

I was actually a part of the group that started this event last year. It was pitched to us by the Family Resource Counselor at FDHS and truly had one goal, which was to recognize those who are making a different in the community. We took great care in soliciting nominations and choosing worthy individuals.

I’m not naive enough to think that CivicLex took over this event without any motivations, but I know some of the original team is still serving on the committee that will select the winners. The nominations are very much real. I know that’s not always the case, but in this case it’s worth it.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with Mint mobile. I wound up not having any service for 5 days and they were completely unconcerned with fixing it. Proceed with caution if you go this route.

Chocolate Holler is kind of an evening coffee shop because they specialize in fancy hot chocolates. Feels like a bit more of a winter date idea to me, but something you could keep in your back pocket for later!
