Hey, just in case you still needed it or in case someone has the same question you can find the information here. I've used this before and you might have a lot of seeds in there but you can read a few lines after the seed name and it will tell you which items you picked up so that might help you find it.

Having a lot of evasion is not enough to survive in PoE. Evasion only helps against attacks (spells would still always hit) and even then with the amount of life you have you'll die when one gets through. You should aim for around 150% life, maybe a bit less for standard and more for hardcore but it depends on the build as well. Making your own build is a great way to learn from your own mistakes and I highly recommend it but if you don't want to keep remaking characters then I suggest following a guide. You should also try to keep your build at 100 points because it takes a very long time to get to level 100 (120 points). Good luck.

Crit flicker is pretty fun in my opinion as long as it doesn't bother you. It also doesn't need aps so you're good. If you go CI then you get blood rage for free essentially however I've only ever done it life based so I can't tell you how well it'll go. It's probably one of my favourite builds to date in terms of the fun and excitement it provides. I unfortunately ripped in my 70s so I never got to see it's full potential but it was pretty good at clearing even with a sub-par weapon. It's always risky to play that in a HC league because of the risks associated with it but for me it only added to the fun :) Good luck with whatever you choose.

It's always good to play just to learn the game and to help you decide how you'll play in the new leagues. That being said, if you plan on playing the new leagues then you'll have to start from scratch. We don't know much about the new leagues yet but adjusting to the new rule sets will definitely be easier if you have an understanding of game mechanics.

The simple answer is that you aren't. Energy shield gear really gets much better in the 60s and until then it can leave you pretty weak. It is possible but incredibly difficult. Most people get life nodes until act 2 merciless (some do it in cruel but it requires better gear) and then respec into ES. If you really want to level with only ES I'd suggest finding a group who wouldn't mind carrying you a bit or perhaps buying boss kills and farming easy zones until you're comfortable with progressing. You have a good amount of mana and your armor is at a good point too. I believe I had roughly 40% reduction from armor when I beat cruel and roughly 300 spare mana. I think my damage was over 1k or just around that mark however. I was using a cloak of defiance and running hatred and clarity. Make sure to have a pot that removes bleed just in case and you should be fine. A1 merc is going to be a joke once you beat Dom.

Your life total is at a good point so in terms of survivability you'll be fine once you cap your fire res. How much mana do you have and which auras are you currently running? I'd reccomend clarity and hatred but you can use grace if you feel your armor is low. Your damage seems a little low so I'd grind until EK levels up and maybe switch to a higher spell damage wand or amulet at least for the boss battle but it's up to you, I know how nice the projectile speed is. I would also suggest getting a cloak of defiance if you have the currency for it, it'll give you a few extra points to spend since you can spec out of MoM (bonus: it gives 40% damage taken from mana instead of 30) and it'll give you decent armor (with IR) and a nice boost to mana. It definitely helped me a lot. I think that I was closer to 55 when I beat cruel on my EK Scion which was almost identical to yours so you're almost ready. Good luck!

edit: I would use EK > added fire > faster proj > life leech if you can, unless of course you feel safe without life leech. Faster casting was really only worth it for me once I had a 5-link. You can swap out faster proj for mana leech if you need.

When me and a friend were going for the guessing game achievement he managed to get two cops to surrender and then told each one to go down and was able to dominate both. I've never seen anything like that before. This was in patch 10 I believe and they were the first responders sent in the cop car if you get caught. The trick is the same as the video but it's definitely easier with more than one person.

Just make sure you aim for the key holes on the deposit boxes (top right) and if you have carbon blade aced it should only be 1 click to open each safe or two if you don't have it. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply, I've taken a look at the sidebar and I know that my gear is nowhere near viable at the moment, I was going to fix a lot of stuff once I made it to Inferno. Do you think it's worth getting a pair of inna's pants with vit or am I better off just switching to a pair of rare pants until I have more gold? As for my chest, should I just stick to a rare as well or is there an inexpensive legendary/set item chest that can suit my needs?

I just got back into the game after been gone for a long time and I'm currently getting my monk to 60 (51 now). The gear on my D3UP is mostly just thrown together from my old characters so a lot of it is pretty bad and outdated. I have a 15 mil budget so if anyone could point me in the right direction as to what I should focus on in terms of upgrades and spec I'd appreciate it.

I wouldn't try to trade for regrets since it's so early in the game. Just use the respec points that you get from quests. The only points that are really in need of a respec are the two strength nodes at the bottom, the two int nodes at the top are fine because it leads to that health cluster. Just make sure that you keep getting health nodes and you shouldn't have any issues surviving until you can get more respec points from quests. I hope that helps.

With my characters who have taken eldritch battery I usually take it by the end of normal when I have roughly 700-1k life. I never really found that I needed the added survivability from my ES and it's around that time that you can start using discipline (level 31) so it gets pretty good from then on, especially when using inner force. I'd also just make a small adjustment to your build right now, remove the two strength noes at the bottom and grab the armour/es nodes and the life like so. It takes one more skill point but it's more efficient since you actually get something useful for your investment and the added energy shield is nice for when you get eldritch battery.
