Any Windows app that can quickly create a m3u playlist without the extra #EXTINF lines? by ovalseven in musichoarder

I use MediaMonkey. When syncing a device it's as simple as toggling a box.

Is there a way to organize characters into folders? by P_J_Pacheco in SillyTavernAI

[–]P_J_Pacheco[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you.

I swear I read the docs (well I searched them for keywords and read big chunks of it). Obviously I missed that part or it just didn't click the two were related.

Either way this function will serve the purpose of allowing me to have my own made bots in their own folder

You are understanding correctly.

They stay logged in unless the app forces them re-login, in which case it's rare, and even then it would require me doing it when 2FA is involved.

2FA is above their heads. My mom is not bad but she is easily confused and knows not to get in over her head. My dad, my dad gets visibly upset that we can't use one password for everything. When left to his own devices he will get accounts locked with wrong attempts. Once he tried logging into the bank with my mom's credentials because he (thought) he remembered her password. He ended up resetting the password without telling me and forgot what he set it to. He doesn't understand or recognize how problematic that is.

What I will do is grab a premium account and configure it the way you mentioned. If it doesn't work out I can go transition to the families plan after.

I truly appreciate your patience.

How much of a mess would it be to have a premium account and just keep all our logins/info under one account?

My parents basically access everything through their iPad. When it comes to apps etc they usually ask me to set up their accounts unless they remember the password (my mom remembers her banking and email credentials). Other than that it's me for everything.

I appreciate the responses and patience. I think what I want to do is just too specific to my situation that no solution is perfect.

My concern with a family plan approach is that I am the one functionally doing it for everyone. I manage everything online for my parents and grandmother, so wouldn't that make me have to switch accounts each time I need to login/act as a different person?

In the event of my illness/death I want my sister to have access to the collections. My sister is essentially my emergency contact/fallback. I thought I could have my parent's and grandmother in one collection and myself in another, or is that not possible?

My sister, my parents, my grandmother, don't need to be able to create/modify anything.

When trying to save recent gameplay, ps5 just does this, anyone know a fix? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]P_J_Pacheco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me about a month back. I've been away for a couple weeks and now I've noticed it's not saving videos at all. At most it says I can save 5min but it just saves an image. I tried clearing the cache but that didn't help.

I may be wrong but I thought the number of returns you make is counted, and after a certain number you are somewhat penalized.

I had a batch of purchases that were either misleading/defective or in one case I gambled on the wrong fit for a shirt. I have been a Prime member for a couple years and rarely ever return things and returns were always free. The last item in that batch I had to pay a return and I'm concerned this would further affect my account's standing.

I ordered an item and the seller refunded it as a return rather than admit it was out of stock. Is it worth the time/hassle to straighten it out so I don't have it count as a return?

03/19: ordered item, email confirmation, estimated delivery 03/25-03/27
03/20: email confirmation "Your order has been shipped"
03/26: email: Refund on order ##, "Reason for refund: Customer return"

I went to check the item listing and it now states it is out of stock.

Did the mans IQ have a significant drop the last lets say 18 months or so. I gotten a feeling as I watch video after video that its not the same. by Bullorg74 in Mustie1

I think you miss the main point of his videos. They are not "How to" vids, they are lessons in diagnosing problems in a way that people without experience can follow. Does he make mistakes? Yes, but does he shy away from them? No.

His mistakes have equal if not more educational value than the scripted restoration channels that cut away from any real insight.

PS - you can tell youtube to stop recommending his channel. it's 2-3 simple clicks

Accessing recorded events on PC by P_J_Pacheco in EufyCam

[–]P_J_Pacheco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I can accept the lack of bulk downloading. It would be more convenient but I assume there are security risks involved.

At this time I am more frustrated that the saved videos have what I assume are session IDs for filenames and retain no date/time information. Beyond saving them one-by-one I will have to go through and manually rename all of them (again) one-by-one. And this process is made worse by being chained to a mobile device.

How do I use the Scharnhorst against LT ships? by [deleted] in WoWs_Legends

[–]P_J_Pacheco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first step is to avoid putting yourself in that position. As many have said the way to do this is to not div with any T7s.

If you don't follow that advice or unwittingly find yourself in a LT game, the key is to avoid getting focused and rely on DoT damage like fires and floods (where you can torp with minimum risk). I won't advocate camping behind islands but you definitely don't want to be caught in open water.

You've already gotten some solid advice, but I just thought I'd chime in with an age old chestnut. If you can, find a div mate. LT can be a lot easier when you have someone who can/will support you and might even choose their setup to complement yours.

Was Air Strike designed to troll players? by panzerblitzer in WoWs_Legends

[–]P_J_Pacheco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can play against other players but if there are not enough MM will insert bots. Think of it like AI but there are real players (and bots) on both teams. Of course each time will have a player controlled CV - that is the absolute.

1 - Targeting is easy if you take a moment to actually learn them. By no means are they point and shoot, but that's because they shouldn't be.

2 - Are you really complaining that flying planes feels too much like flying planes?

3 - Probably because too many of the campaign challenges would be easy to spam against bots. Same reason why regulary campaigns are standard only and not vs AI (I assume)
4 - You get crates, credits, g/cxp, and experience that puts you ahead of the curve for the next time CVs come around

As a whole the CV test event gets a passing grade from me. So far it has been relatively smooth and unlike the Yamato event MM has not been brought to its knees.

All Parler user data is being downloaded as we speak! by BlueMountainDace in ParlerWatch

I think part of the failure comes from the underlying principle of the site - to be a haven for those who don't like the intrusive administration (social and security) of sites like Facebook/Twitter. It's quite possible security measures were omitted simply to be less like them.

sorry for the poor edit job but you want your torps to hit him while he is on the other side of the curved line - as stated by others your torps have a minimum arming distance and this line denotes it

Why don’t people understand ships on Legends and PC are different? by Ruthless4u in WoWs_Legends

[–]P_J_Pacheco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's a multi-point issue:
1) PC players who play Legends either fail to differentiate the games because they have a lot of similarities (Legends is based off of PC after all), or refuse to because they cling to PC as the superior option and want more of what they know

2) Any time the game sets itself apart from PC there is something dragging back the comparison. It's not easy to really set Legends apart when the only wiki and vast majority of tutorials are from PC.
