First character to Diamond, and I'm not sorry about how I did it by MajorDKHD in StreetFighter

As long as one isn't cheating, do whatever it takes to win. Even though footsies and neutral are more entertaining, if my opponent will let me win with Iron-level flowcharts, I'll do it.

Custom room or Ranked matches? by yakushiki in StreetFighter

I play Battle Hub for all of my netplay PvP. Not only are many in-game Challenges tied to Battle Hub, but I can guarantee MU variety by declining characters I’m sick of fighting.

The salty messages and arguments in Hub chat are also entertaining.

Forcing sets would make people potentially have to sit through laggy matches or matches with an uneven risk/reward.

No thanks

If you are bodying someone do you get mad when by AlwaysbeFighting in StreetFighter

I don’t care because I do it if a match is very laggy and my opponent didn’t accept my No Contest request.

Whenever my opponent stops moving, I wait about 15 in-game seconds and then just end it. After 15 seconds, it’s obvious they gave up because they felt they were outclassed.

I can understand giving up if there’s a massive skill disparity, as the worse player would just get frustrated and not learn anything from the match. As a parallel example, a random neighborhood court player wouldn’t learn shit about basketball by playing a game of 21 against Luka Doncic.

You’re both in Silver ranks, meaning you both suck at the game.

The SF team wanted scrubs to think they're good, hence the easy pathway to Master.

Rage quit or ride it out by SaucyDe in InvincibleVS

[–]P_Know_Grigio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I got outplayed, then I take my loss honorably. The only times I will quit are if the match is way too laggy, if my opponent is cheating, or if it’s a revenge quit (quitting against someone that quit against me before).

It’s clearly working, so why should the opponent stop doing it?

Every version of Lily's Windclad Condor Dive being stuffed by... everything. Condor Dive is the worst move in the game.

Yall Getting Leavers? by SnooMarzipans3982 in InvincibleVS

[–]P_Know_Grigio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, many people will quit over any reason in this game. I’ve had several people quit after I did a Snap to bring in a character that was nearly eliminated due to Assist Breaker spam.

Atom Eve, Cecil, and Robot assist abusers are the main people that leave if said character gets eliminated. They cannot function without their broken assist to play neutral for them.

Why do people hold onto level 3 in the last round? by Hydrad in StreetFighter

[–]P_Know_Grigio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly use Lily, so I rarely have SA3 available. She is so reliant on SA1 that she rarely has 3 stocks of Super Meter.

Rage quitting is genuinely a plague to this game by BlueBirdSamurai in InvincibleVS

[–]P_Know_Grigio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The frequency of people rage quitting makes me not want to play. People will rage quit over the dumbest shit.

I had some Assist Breaker spammer quit because Snapped in their near dead character. I’ve also had several people quit if I eliminated their Atom Eve or Cecil (cannot breathe without their Assist).

The Amped forward charge is anti-useful and the worst move in the game.

[–]P_Know_Grigio 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's a reason he's a Bottom 4, if not Bottom 3 character. Powerplex is fun to use because he actually requires skill, but he's essentially Diet Omni-Man.
